Me & Ben walked in together noticing we were the only two in there. We rushed through our orders without a single word to each other. We payed and left getting to the courtyard before anyone else.
"Where should we sit?" He asked
"Um," I thought," somewhere in the sun."
He pointed to a table and I nodded my head. We sat down and opened our sandwiches.
"Ugh. I love subway." He says
"So I've heard," I giggle.
"So are you excited to join the tour life?"
"Yeah. I'm pretty excited. I wasn't at first, but now I think it's gonna be fun."
"You're my age, right?" He asked.
"Yeah. 18?"
"Just out of curiosity are you going to go to college?"
"Yeah. Well I had planned on backpacking through Europe with some friends, but when Michael got the part, our mom thought it'd be best if I stayed with him through this "little milestone"'. I rolled my eyes.
"Ouch,"he said," that must've sucked."
"Yeah. I was pretty upset when she said I couldn't go. It was something I had been looking forward to all year. I'm over it now, but it was pretty heartbreaking."
"Well, I know this isn't as fun as Europe, but hopefully me and the guys can make it at least a fraction of what you'd been waiting for."
"Aww thank you." We smiled.
And with that the rest of the guys all showed up.
"Jesus Christ the chipotle line was so freaking long."
"It always is , man." Ben laughed.
