Chapter 14

I awoke to the smell of bacon & eggs cooking. Melissa saw my eyes open and rushed a plate into my hands.

"Wow Thanks, mom." I giggled,"Why am I still tired? It's already nine."

"Well your mom came by to make sure you were alright and her and Michael went out shopping I think."

"What's everyone else doing?" I asked.

"Um not sure. We could go see if Mike and Alex wanna go see some princesses later."

"Yes! You know how Mike feels about Esmerelda. And hey, Mel," she looked up at me from her book and took a sip of coffee," thanks for your advice last night. About everything, not just mom."

"Aw you're welcome girly. Anything for my Alliegator." Mel was like a big sister to me. I stretched and stood up ad wandered over to the kitchen area. After breakfast, we stopped by Mike and Alex's room to invite them. Mike opened the door wearing nothing but a bathrobe, "Hey Mel, whats up?" His face was a sickly green color and you could hear Alex in the back throwing up.

"Um well we were going to see if you wanted to go with Allie and I to see some princesses, but it looks like you're a little occupied."

"Yeah, sorry about that. We think we ate something bad last night at this bar we went to."

"Aw I'm sorry guys," I said," I hope you feel better."

"Aw me too. I'll check in on you guys later." She smiled as Mike closed the door.

"Well now who are we gonna invite?" I asked but was immediately regretting the question as Melissa's face lit up and she started running towards the other end of the hall. I immediately followed her, but she had already knocked on the door. I looked at her and rolled my eyes. Josh opened the door almost immediately.

"Joshy!" Mel said," you and Benji want to see some princesses with me and Allie?" And with that we heard Benjamin get up from his bed. "Come on Josh! Let's go see some princesses!"

"Aw come on, Ben, please put on a shirt dude." Josh was closing his eyes and looking a way while Mel had decided to laugh at just how uncomfortable I was.

The guys got dressed and we headed down for the park. Mel decided to force us to walk in twos. And I was obviously stuck with Benjamin.
