I pace the room nervously. She might not come back. Belle won't love me because I let her go. She'll find out this whole thing was a lie and she'll leave me. She'll finally recognize the beast I am.
The front door opens and Amelia walks in, I breathe a sigh of relief but she looks at me with fear in her eyes. She doesn't love me, she learnt the truth and now she doesn't want to be here.
"Darling, where did you go? I was so worried" I say, trying to hug her
But she pulls away from me, tears falling down her face.
"Get away from me! I know you killed my mama and I hate you! I found my papa, my real papa at the cabin!" she whimpers
"You did what?" I frown, panic rising in my voice
"I found him and he's offered me a home! A safe home with him!" she explains
"You can't leave, Belle needs you, I need you, we're a family Amelia!" I argue
"We're a forced family! You gave that lady who is supposed to be my mama fake memories; she only thinks I'm her daughter! Now I'm leaving and you can't stop me!" she snaps
"No you're not" I say
"And how are you going to stop me?" she asks
"By doing exactly what I did to Belle, I'm sorry Amelia but this is the only way to save this family and to stop Belle from leaving me again" I sigh
I pour the bottle of fake memories at her and watch as it swirls around her and the liquid goes into her mind, filling it with fake memories and cutting out her past. It all stops and she looks at me for a second, trying to figure out where she is, then the memories kick in and she leaps into my arms.
"Papa! I missed you!" she giggles
"I missed you too dearie!" I giggle back
