That night
Robin
I wake up to find it's still dark outside. I turn my head slowly to look at the clock which reads 5:30am. I know I'll have to get up soon if I want to start the quest to find my daughter.
I look across the room to find Regina's side of the bed empty. Then I hear a noise coming from the bathroom and I know where she is.
Slowly, I stand up and knock on the bathroom door before entering. Regina's hunched over the toilet, throwing up violently into the toilet bowl. She turns to me when the door opens, her face pale and a blanket of sweat lying across her forehead.
"Are you alright babe?" I ask, kneeling beside her
"No" she sighs, lying back on my chest
I place my hand on her forehead and remove it quickly at the heat.
"Darling, you're burning up" I say
"You would be if you were pregnant and throwing your guts up!" she snaps
"Let's get you into bed" I reply, ignoring the comment she just made
So I scoop her up into my arms and carry her to bed, lying her down gently. She looks at me for a second as I get dressed.
"Where are you going?" she frowns
"I want to start the search for my daughter babe, so I'm going early" I explain
"Don't go, stay with me, please?" she begs, grabbing my hand
"I'll be back before you know it, I promise. I'll get Snow to stay with you" I reassure her
She nods, her eyes drifting shut. I kiss her forehead softly before exiting the room, closing the door quietly behind me.
