Chapter 77

5 months later

Regina

It's been five months since my mother came back into my life and I lost my child, I've been feeling a lot better. But Robin, Robin is the problem.

I never see him. He's always out in the woods, searching for his daughter. He's missing all the baby check-up appointments and he doesn't get in till about 11 o'clock at night. I've been patient with him, I understand he wants to find his daughter; I'd be worried if my child was alone with Rumpelstiltskin, but Belle's there, so she's probably safe.

I need him here, I'm nine months pregnant and I need him to be here because the baby could be born at any minute. That's what I worry about, him not being here to see our child being born. I couldn't bare that.

My mother helps me, but I need my soul mate to be here. I feel like I'm losing him.

I've told him this before, or I've tried to but he doesn't listen because by the time he comes in from searching, he's worn out and falls straight to sleep before I can say a word to him.

We're drifting apart and I can't do anything to stop it. Our relationship is falling apart at the most inconvenient time.

"Regina?" Robin says, sitting beside me

"Yes, aren't you supposed to be going searching for your daughter?" I frown

"Well, Emma's working on the locator spell because it's not working, so I thought we could spend the day together. I know I've pushed you away this last few months because of all this and I want to spend time with my soul mate" he explains

"Okay" I smile, kissing him on the lips

"So, what shall we do?" he asks

I'm about to reply when there's a knock on the door.

We turn our heads to find Killian standing at the door, a smile on his face.

"Robin, Emma's got the potion to work this time, let's go and find her" he explains

I see Robin's face light up with happiness and I know we're not spending the day together.

"I'm on my way" he nods

I won't stand for this, I can't take this anymore.

I grab his arm tightly, causing him to turn and face me.

"Robin! You just said this would be a day that we would spend together! You can't just leave me alone! You're not going!" I snap

"Regina! This is important, she's my daughter who's trapped with an evil imp!" he sighs

"Robin, she has Belle with her, she's perfectly safe! I need you! This baby needs you, I'm going to give birth soon; my due date is two days away! I need you here! You aren't going!" I argue

"Regina don't you care about my daughter at all? She needs me!" he argues back

"Robin, she's safe, I need you right now! She's safe with Belle, she could be happy for all we know, she won't want to leave!" I scream at him

"REGINA FOR HEAVEN SAKE! SHE'S MY DAUGHTER! SHE NEEDS ME!" he yells

"WHAT ABOUT ME? I'M CARRYING YOUR CHILD, I NEED YOU!" I yell back

"MY CHILD COULD BE DYING! YOU'RE FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN SHE IS! I DON'T NEED TO BE HERE WITH YOU! YOU'RE NOT A MOTHER TO SOPHIA, OR ROLAND OR HENRY! WHO LOOKED AFTER SOPHIA WHEN YOU BROKE YOUR TAILBONE? I DID! WHO LOOKED AFTER HENRY, ROLAND AND SOPHIA WHEN YOU GOT YOURSELF HURT AND CUT YOUR HIP? I DID! AND WHEN YOU LOST MY CHILD BECAUSE YOU WEREN'T CAREFUL ENOUGH? I DID! I DID EVERYTHING, YOU DID NOTHING! BECAUSE YOU'RE NO MOTHER TO ANYONE!" he yells

I look at him in complete and utter shock, how could he say that to me?

"HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT? I WAS MAKING THAT LOCATOR SPELL FOR YOU SO YOU COULD FIND YOUR DAUGHTER!" I yell back

"AND IT BACKFIRED BECAUSE YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING RIGHT!" he screams

And with that he storms out of the room, slamming the door behind him...
