I sip on my extra black no sugar coffee while driving off to work. I can't believe the Boss called all of us for an emergency meeting on a Sunday morning. I didn't get much sleep last night because of Daisy dragging me to new club opening. I can't exactly put the blame on her. I was willing to go.
This better be important. I was in the middle of my Sunday morning routine. Basically, sleeping. The worst part is the Boss didn't even mention what the emergency meeting was about. I park my car and make my way to my office on the 47th floor to pick up a few papers just in case. I work at the headquarters. It has 49 floors and the Boss's office is on the 49th floor. Obviously.
I press the elevator button and wait for it to arrive. I'm looking through my papers. Once the elevator dings open, I enter without looking up. I bump into someone and when I look up, my heart skips a beat. Oh My God. Who the frigging fudge is this guy? And how come I've never seen him before in the building.
He was hotter than the Sun. Literally. I could feel my stomach twisting just thinking of what is under that suit of his. He noticed I was checking him out and smirked. I smirked back and turned to click on the 49th floor. Noticing the button is already lit up I wondered Who is this guy? A new business partner? No way, the Boss is too selfish to share his profits.
The elevator dinged open and he spoke up, "Ladies first." And all I could do was imagine how that voice could call upon my name again and again in bed. Lil! Get a hold of yourself! YOU seduce. You don't get seduced.
I smiled and walked out the elevator towards the meeting room swaying my hips a little more than necessary. I could feel his eyes burning on my behind. Once I opened up the door, I noticed everyone was present in the meeting room. I sat on my usual seat.
Once Elevator Man walked in, the Boss went up the platform and spoke up, "Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Sorry for calling all of you on a Sunday, but this was something which couldn't be held off till tommorow. Now since all of you know I'm getting old and I will need someone to hold up my position when I pass. I know this is short notice but my son will be taking over the company after 30 days and I would like you guys to welcome him."
WHAT! No way! Boss has a son? How come I've never heard of him! Elevator Man walked to Boss and shook his hands. There was hushed chattering everywhere. Looks like I'm not the only one shocked about this news.
He came to the mic and spoke up. " Good morning everyone, my name is Gabriel West and I look forward to working with you people." Gabriel huh. Yummy. "I already have my own company, West Inc. which I will be joining with Fairmount Tech. So you'll be very busy in helping with this collaboration. I want to say one more thing. I do not handle tardiness very well. Thank you all. You're dismissed."
Well, work just got interesting.
