"Now honey, are you sure you only want two people there?" Her guardian, Ms. Kay said. She was a very nice woman who took in lost kids despite what little she had. "Well I think that's a whole bunch of fuss for only two guests. So I have taken the liberty of inviting a few more for you, but don't worry, their all family," Let's just say that the migraine that Kianri was fighting off was in full swing now. Ms. Kay just didn't get that when everyone who goes through your house is considered 'family' saying that phrase didn't really ease the mind. Right as she was about to say something about this, she was saved by her faithful companion, Sasha. When they are born all of her people were paired with a feline. They share a psychic link until the day they die.

"Relax Kianri, its not as bad as it seems at the moment." Sasha's cool, calm voice reassured her. "It will be over soon enough, and our life will be back to normal." Kianri was less than convinced about that. This occasion did spark the need to send her father another letter.

Dear Father,

It has been a year since I have been here, it may seem like a drop in the bucket at home, but trust me it is a momentous occasion down here. That's why I a, sending this letter. When will I be coming home? How long must I stay here? Please respond with a date.

Love your daughter

Kianri

She honestly didn't expect an answer, but here's to hoping. Just as she was sending it away Ms. Kay called her in for dinner. At least this day was almost over and she was closer to being through with the dreaded, 'birthday'.
