Weeks had passed and Cade hadn't seen anything of the princess besides night recon. A brief few hours in a long day. She seemed to be avoiding him, Felix believed he was just being paranoid. Maybe he was, it was for the best anyway. Maybe not to his job but for him not to get to close to her. He deserved a harder time learning of her, he shouldn't have allowed his body to be affected. Yet even still when he watched her sleeping at night he couldn't help himself from reacting to her beautiful face. He needed to find time to get her alone. Complete his mission and be done with it. The storm coming was his perfect opportunity to do so.

Kianri felt the storm coming before the human weather trackers even knew of it. It was to be a class 3 hurricane a damaging storm to either people. It saddened her that her father didn't bring her back if only to be safe from the storm. What's worse is he knew her reaction to the elements. All of her people had one, some anger, some fear, some even hunger. Hers was arousal. Yes, the worst of the worst she would have to spend the duration of the storm locked on her room with Sasha. The day it began Ms. Kay called a meeting in the living room. She was currently caring for 5 children in a single wide trailer. Not exactly a safe place for them to be all together. This is what she explained when everyone gathered. She announced that while her and her husband were staying in their rickety home the kids will be placed with neighbors. Fear ran through her, staying with a stranger no less during the storm, how torturous.

"Stay calm, my only fear is that it will be with Cade." Sasha thought to her. God, she hadn't even think of that opportunity. If she was placed with him during the storm, she wouldn't survive it.

" Don't worry, it's probably with the redheads next door, the one with the twin girls." She attempted the calm both their fears. Yet when their home was called out she wasn't on the list. Two others would get to spend time with the beauties. Twins were incredibly rare in her race, she adored the three year olds.

"And that leaves Kianri to be with Cade down the street. You seemed to hit it off at the party and I haven't seen you around him since, perhaps this will give you chance to know each other." Ms. Kay had a well placed mischievous grin on her face. Not knowing what she had just done to the two of them. Worse yet, she announced that all the animals will be staying with the house. To 'make them more comfortable' so not even with Sasha she would have to lock herself in a room, avoiding Cade at all costs.

Ms. Kay walked her through the stinging rain to his door. He opened it seeming casual, thus began the torture that ensued. Once entering she gave a quick hello and 'thank you' and made for the nearest room shutting herself inside. Already her reaction had began and lightning hadn't even started yet.

"Uh, Kianri?" he came to the door unwilling to let this be easy for her. She could sense his maleness, her body desperate to find anything.

"Ya!" she called out "I'm just not feeling well, storms scare me." She rushed out hoping it would do the trick.

"Ok then, just so you know though." He started

"Just I think I'm going to ride the storm out alone. If that's ok." She called out.

"That's my room." She heard him. Once again embarrassed she looked around to see an obviously make room behind her. There were weapon on the walls and a dark silk sheets on a four poster bed. Little other decoration presented itself. She slowly opened the door to his cute as hell waiting face.

"Well come on in of course." She whispered, eyes to the ground. She could still sense every inch between them. "I like your decorating style." She truly did, it reminded her of home.

"Thanks," he ran a hand along the cool steel of the blades on the wall. "It helps me with my purpose."

"What purpose?" she was halfway out the door only to turn back.

"I think you know, Kianri."

"The weapons, the new furniture, the cat, Felix is your companion isn't he?" the truth slammed her in the face. Everything clicked finally, she was right, no human could be that beautiful. He was an assassin sent to take advantage of her unprotected nature.

"Do it then." She urged him to make the first move, she had no plans of going out without a fight. Even thought all her body wanted to do was mount him and have her way. Hopefully whatever affliction he suffered from during storms would help her out. Here's to hoping it wasn't rage.

"I have locked Felix away." He continued speaking, making no room to remove the weapons from the wall.

"What does that have to do with anything?"

"He wished me not to do this." They now circled each other, she wouldn't let him anywhere near her to get the upper hand. Warrior training 101.

"Kill me?" she answered him. "A tough business to go in if your companion doesn't agree. Killing people." Cade laughed at her words.

"Actually Felix is even more vicious than I am, as you have already experienced. He gestured to the wounds on her legs.

"Then what's your problem?" she couldn't figure this opponent out. Both fear and arousal grew inside of her.

Suddenly he rushed to her, the move he made was not of attack, but of seduction. He came full facing her and planted a passionate kiss on her lips. The kiss awakened the passion they both has been holding back from each other. She knew if she could Sasha would be screaming in her mind right now to get her to stop surrendering to him.

Felix screamed in Cade's mind, he knew what was happening. Knew that Cade was giving in to the pull the princess had on him. He was happy to discover that she was just as competitive in the bedroom as he was.

"I've been waiting for this." He whispered into her ear. Slowly he traced random patterns along her now bare naval. Despite the wait he would enjoy this, he thought to himself. He made quick work of her pants kneeling down to take in her beautifully exposed skin. Her body had been kissed by the sun, they said this about all the princesses but he had no idea it would make him her slave. Kianri was ready for what was to come as she leaned into his hold. He stayed, teasing this incredibly strong confident woman hoping for the reaction she gave. He allowed her to seize him and push his form onto the bed, climbing atop him.

"I'll be in charge then tough guy," she laughed down at him. Her beautiful golden hair creating a halo around a perfect face. Jade green eyes pierced into his own mesmerizing him with their beauty. He knew he could easily take back control, he had thought nothing but her body the time he's known her. He was curious to see what she would do to him. Slowly she also traced patterns along his bare chest. He was her's, and her's alone for the night and she was going to enjoy that.
