Cade walked back to the residence he had just purchased for his mission. To watch the recently made vulnerable princess as report back to his brothers what he learned. He couldn't help but remember the way her beautful green eyes has looked at him. As if he was a prime rib at a vegan convention. He did not expect her to be so beautiful, those curves spoke to him as much as her mouth did. Oh her mouth, those perfectly rose petal lips. What? No! He needed not the do this, he was almost home and if Felix caught what he was thinking he wouldn't take it lightly. He loved his companion for always being able to keep him on the mission. He was in full recon mode now; gather as much information to see why the king chose to put her on this realm. Few crossed the divider and never a princess.
"Was she there?" Felix, his thin orange tabby companion greeted him at the door.
"Of course she was there, it was her party." He thought back to him hiding any information on the princess away to prevent him from knowing what happened. "This mission is going to take time. Give me some before I see what we will do next." Felix walked away not giving a response. He didn't seem very happy with the idea of waiting, he never was. Nevertheless he would stick with him through to the end.
"So then he just walked away?" Hannah said, she stayed the night after the party and now they had something new to talk about.
"Yes, and I couldn't find him again." Kianri replied.
"Well I wish I was there so I could have told you wether or not he was into you." Hannah was frustrated. This was new to Kianri, being a princess of her people she never has to consider wether a guy was into her or not. Every man wanted her on some level if only for her status.
"Can you stay an extra day?" She pleaded "I may need another pair of eyes if I meet him again."
"Maybe one more but remember my sister comes home for Christmas break tomorrow."
"Oh right." She forgot about the odd human holiday. "We'll have to figure this out tomorrow then." Good thing the new mystery lived right down the road.
"Be careful with this Kianri, you can't hide what you feel for him from me." Sasha approached curling into her lap. Hannah was fixed on the TV allowing her time to communicate with her companion.
"I am just having good fun. I would never let a human prevent us from going home." She knew Sasha was just as miserable as her here. They longed for the comforts of home.
That night she was plagued with nightmares. The break in of her home, the attack. She was just a child when her father's last war ended. Towards the end the rebels from the North kingdom invaded their palace. It was a complete surprise and no matter how hard her Father fought to get to them they went straight for the three precious princesses. Her and her sisters were trapped in the room with three enemies, and two at the door, there was no way out for them. Sasha and the other companions had been taken from them immediately, Lily, the youngest has fainted at this time. The bond between companion and master was strongest at her age. Kianri knew Tala, the oldest and in line for the throne couldn't fight. She was every definition of a princess and future queen of their people even at her own young age, that didn't include warrior training. Leaving Kianri to fight, she stood over them from the beginning, protecting her little sisters unconscious form. Tala quivered behind her and the two men left to guard them circled menacingly. She just knew something awful was on their minds.
"What do you think?" The one with red eyes spoke to the other.
"I like the one with spunk." The one with jet black answered.
"Yes but the target was the oldest, and that's not the oldest." Obviously he was above the black eyed one.
"Yes but I get a say, it's my act to perform." Fear trailed through her as the black eyed one spoke.
"Fine then," The red eyed one gave in to his wishes. "I will guard the others. Make it quick we don't have a lot of time." The sounds of fighting raged on out their door. To her dismay they didn't get any closer as the dark one attempted to capture her. She was forced to abandon her sisters in order to evade the attack on herself. A young girl against a trained warrior she didn't evade him for long. He immediately forced her onto the bed tying her the posts. He stripped her even though she fought until blood poured down from her wrists. As a very sexual by nature race rape was a common part of all invasions. Having three royal daughter her father had taken every precaution to guard the castle, but they still got through. She knew this when she stood over her sisters, she was willing to take the attack for them. He seemed to like that she fought, but she couldn't help it. The guards finally burst in and the last words from them both was the leader scolding him for taking too long. Her father obliterated the Northern Kingdom, it still lied as a barren wasteland protecting a mysterious forest to this day. Her first words spoken weeks after the attack was demanding warrior training from her father. He granted it, how could he not.
