Dalton could not tear his gaze from the beautiful princess all night. It had been almost half a century since he had seen the beautiful Lily, and she had definitely grown into a fine young woman. Her curves spoke to him, covered by the velvet red dress she wore, matching her striking eyes beautifully. He did not believe he had ever seen such an exquisite creature.
"Once again welcome dear guests, we are happy to host The Talks this year." The king began raising a glass and standing, demanding silence.
"Not surprised Marcus, you have held this the last few centuries." His father obviously couldn't help himself but say. Sometimes his actions infuriated him greatly. It didn't seem to sit well with Lily's father either, he wasn't a man who liked getting interrupted.
"Yes," The king once again regained everyone's attention, "Happier still, is the hopeful union of your young Dalton." He gestured to the prince. "And my beautiful Tala." Everyone looked around confused. Apparently no one had been told of this 'hopeful union' nonsense. Dalton and Tala looked awkwardly at each other, Kianri wouldn't be surprised if that was the first time either noticed the other. How clueless some parents could be, both of the Kings smiled at the couple stupidly. Daring, she looked over to Lily, to see how she was taking this news. Total devastation covered her little sisters face, as if their father had just ripped her heart out. She knew she had to fix this.
Once the banquet was over she retired to her room for the early evening. She had shenanigans on the mind and needed to ditch the shadow. "Jace," she called him over to her once they were safely behind doors. Sasha took off to do whatever she does all day.
"Yes?" He sounded worried, as if he knew what was on her mind.
"You know I've had warrior training right?"
"Where are you going with this." He warned.
"I just need a little time alone, come on." She practically begged him to let her go. He turned away from her mulling over her proposal.
"What will you give me in return?"
"Well, me." She offered.
"Deal." He gave her a charming smile. "I can go practice a little." And he left her to her plan. Immediately she snuck out, traveling the short distance down the hall to Lily's room. Keeping hidden in the many shadows of the palace she stayed out of sight of the one guard that was there. She waited for her opportunity and something surprising happened.
Another guard in a helmet and everything walked up to the first. He placed some amount of money in his hand and the first guard bowed and dismissed. The guard removed his helmet revealing that he was in fact, the smitten prince, Dalton. She chuckled to herself a little disheartened at how easily her guard was bought off. "Lancelot comes for Gwenyvere." She called out to him making the prince jump.
"What are you doing here?" He took a defensive stance.
"Don't worry, I was going to formulate some plan to get you crazy kids together." She had picked up way to many human phrases.
"So..?"
"So don't break her heart." She said and walked back to her room into the waiting arms of Jace.
Dalton took a deep breathe, so much for keeping a low profile he had already been caught by the older sister. Then again, Kianri's shenanigans were known throughout the three kingdoms. It came to little surprise she was the one to catch him. He just could not get Lily out of his mind, her beautiful eyes, her suggestive curves. Simply watching her dance tonight put him into a trance, he had to see her again. Tentatively he knocked on her bejeweled golden door, it must be nice to live in a kingdom that still has it's riches.
"Enter." He heard her tinkling voice from the other side. Suddenly every part of him was a little more awake. Slowly he opened the door and peeked his head in to announce himself. The beauty jumped up, but didn't seem surprised to see him. "I knew it was you,"
"How?" He pushed himself completely into the room, shutting the door behind him. Immediately the sexual tension in the room became apparent to him. The light was low, and rose colored. Beautifully scented candles burned in each corner.
"Kianri told Sasha, who told Venus, it goes on." She explained.
He chuckled "Sisters." He wouldn't know, all he had was an older brother.
She closed the distance between them to mere breathes away. Her eyes, almost as rosy as the light around them spoke to him again. Soon she closed in for a kiss. He received her greatly, hands roaming over her scantly clad body. He wanted her, needed her to give herself to him. Gently, he lowered her onto the bed, instantly she wrapped her legs around him. Pulling the thin silk sheet over them to fight against the chill, he plunged himself deep inside of her. Locked in a passionate kiss he made love to her as he had thought nothing of since the moment he met her.
After which they laid together until first light of the morning woke him. Dressing he made sure to wake her, kissing her the morning before sneaking back to his own room. If his father knew what he's done, he would be dead. Or worse.
