The following day was the most boring one of Kianri's long life. The Talks was even more boring then the name. Meetings after meetings, some with her father at the head, others with different leaders. She wondered what had become of Lily, had she talked with Dalton, had she done more? She shook off that thought, it was weird to think of her baby sister like that. The caught tiny glimpses of the young prince throughout the day, he did seem to be happier. Unfortunately the sisters plan is always to divide and conquer in this events. She did not get a chance to see her beloved little sister. That night, long after the sun had gone down everyone returned to their rooms in the palace. Jace, her constant distracting shadow returned with her. She had no plans to sleep with him tonight, she was going to stop by, check on Lily and go to bed alone.

Jace seemed to have other plans, he was very difficult to persuade into staying behind while she escaped again. Once again she questioned the efficiency of the warrior training in her kingdom. This time she made her way to princess Tala's room.  She was incredible surprised to find both Dalton, and Lily already socializing on her couch.

"Well I'm late for the party." She was tired of her sisters being mischievous without her.

"Not late." Tala emerged from the dining area of her suite. "I simply forgot to invite you, my apologies." she wasn't sure if her voice was convinced her it wasn't on purpose.

"Well ok then," she took a seat on the small couch Lily and Dalton occupied. "So your ok with this whole thing." she pointed to the obviously in love couple beside her.

"Oh yes, I have had no interest ever in the young prince." Tala was sure to mention very bluntly.

"Yes but I'm sure father would. I was under the impression you would rather die than disobey him." Kianri and her older sister had always had a resentment over her being the perfect one. Tala told on her too many times she guessed.

"He has never been wrong Kianri." Tala retorted.

Just as everyone and even their companions had gathered and started drinking the worst happened. All sets of fuzzy eyes were pulled to the door when the two Kings burst through it. Dalton's father, and her own. The first took a look at the snuggling pair on the couch then looked at her father.

"I will have your head for this betrayal." The first ever person to dare shake a finger at him, then rushed out the door. Dalton, of course, rushed after him no doubt to talk him out of war. This left the three sisters alone with their father.

Fear radiated from each one of them for they knew they had done wrong, even more wrong than predicted. "Kianri," Of course he zeroed in on her. "Meet me in my study, immediately." Then he turned without a word to the other two guilty sisters.

"You see what I mean?" She exclaimed turning around to the apparently innocent girls.

Yes, Kianri. It's all unfair, it's always unfair." Tala commented snidely then turned away to go about her perfect life.

Kianri stormed out of the suite, ready to face her father again. Damn it, she didn't want to get into trouble this time, he will no doubt send her back to the human realm now, possibly forever. Rushing down the hallway she stopped at the door to the study. She knew what awaited her inside, yet still she needed a deep breathe to prepare.

She entered the room, she always loved the atmosphere of this place, even though it was her father's place of choice to scold her. Walking in she saw a sight she had seen many times, her father bent over the desk. He was reviewing papers of every kind using the immense wall of books behind him to help. He was addicted to research and knowledge, definitely a unique trait among the race. He finally looked up from his work as she stood in front of the big old wooden desk.

"Kianri." A statement, not to be argued with, a fine start. "I am very disappointed in you."

Look, I know your not going to believe me, but it wasn't be this time I swear."

"If you knew I wasn't going to believe you, then why did you speak at all."

Her fathers loving words always warmed her heart. "But it wasn't me."

"You were seen sneaking around the palace that very night. What am I supposed to believe." He snapped up at her.

"How about me for once?" She asked almost begging, almost.

Her response infuriated him further, her father shook his head now standing. "I can't Kianri, I couldn't even trust you to be guarded."

"What do you mean? I have a guard." His statement confused her.

"No, Kianri, you have a new toy. I hired a escort who could maybe hold himself in a fight."

"You what!?" This betrayal of her trust should not have surprised her so.

"It was the only way I could get anyone to guard you, especially at night where you like to make your trouble instead of sleep." Every word he spoke only infuriated her further.

"Why is it always me who makes the trouble. Just because I was the fist daughter to break a rule doesn't mean I'm always the guilty one." She begged him, even though he didn't deserve it.

"So your telling me it was Tala's idea to get Dalton and my Lily together, when it was Tala in the first place who needed to be with him?" He tested her further.

"Yes, that's what I'm saying."

He shook his head in immediate denial. "You go to far Kianri." Was all he said.

"No you do." She had a sudden epiphany. As miserable as the human realm was she no longer belonged here. Never will she be trusted with anything if the king himself didn't. "Goodbye Father." She said very reserved. Then she rose, walked out this study door, once in the hallway she found the case that held the kingdoms most precious items. The jewel was in it, she needed to remove it if she was to cross the realms. One guard was always posted by it, but she could bypass him easily. Luckily her own tiara was also in the case, Tala wore hers always, Lily most of the time. After Kianri began to refuse it her father just threw it in the case for safe keeping.

"What do you need Kianri?" The guard asked as soon as she opened the case door.

"I wish to wear my tiara." Was all she needed to say, he nodded approval to keep going. Slowly she removed the precious silver tiara, red jewels covered it making it sparkle in the light. Quickly she wiped the other precious ruby colored stone, placing her tiara on her head she made her way to the palace exit.

After a long walk she finally made it to the tear in the realms.

"Are you sure you want to do this?"  Sasha asked yet again.

"Yes I'm sorry, you know what happened. Will you come with me?" At a moment like this the companion had the choice to severe the connection they shared and leave. Most who lose their companions in anyway didn't do well afterwards.

"Of course you know I will."  The love they shared was running through them. Kianri and her best friend stepped through to the other world, hoping for a better start.
