Chapter 3

~*(F/N)'s PoV*~

"Fudou! Go for it!" I hear Kidou shout to the cocky player, Fudou, as he passed the ball to him.

"You'll regret choosing me to one of your plays (L/n)." He smirked at me as I let him pass, knowing very well he does not know what my next move is.

"Heh, letting me pass eh? Well okay then~" He snickered as he continued going to my goal, I just inwardly smirk.

Soon enough once he was about to kick the ball for a goal, I swiftly stole the ball from him and the look on his face was priceless!

"Haha~ You should see the look on your face! Are you surprised that I suddenly stole the ball from you? Did you really think I'd let you shoot it that easily?~" I tease as I play with the soccer ball. Bouncing the ball with my knee without missing a beat.

"How..did..you..? What the hell..." Fudou was still shocked about my sudden trick. Well whatever, I better head to the goal now or he'll chase me and steal the ball back. I soon dribble the ball towards the goal of Kidou's with a quickened pace.

"Kidou! Defend it!" I hear Gouenji shout at him. Too late, I quickly passed by him within seconds.

"Omae-!" Soon enough he caught up to me and blocked me. Nice job.

"Oh, you caught up?" I spoke, a bit amused of his actions.

"Yeah, I did," He replied with a teasing smile. Interesting...

"Well I had a nice chat with you but now you all know the battle starts here!" Using my quick reflexes and strong stamina, I make my way out of his defend and quickly kicked the ball to the goal. That's a point for me...

"Wha..." I look back at Kidou who has his mouth wide open, still surprised of the action that I have made, I assume.

"What?" I cock my head to the other side in confusion, is it really that surprising?

"How could you easily pass Kidou just..like that?.." Fudou asked in surprise.

I shrug my shoulders as a reply and look away. "Kidou-kun's form wasn't balanced enough...He was leaning more to the left than the right." I answered while I took a quick glance on Kidou, he kept a straight face and looked down. I wonder what will he do now? I turned away and jogged over to my side of the field.

"It's okay Kidou! You can take a point back!" I hear Endou encouraged his friend, optimistically.

"Un!" Kidou looked up and nodded at Endou with a smile. He's back on the game...

"Fudou, change of plans. We're both going to be the offense and defense." I somehow managed to overhear the conversation even though they're from a distance farther away from me.

I hear Fudou reply with an unsatisfied sigh and just nodded at Kidou. A two against one? Fine by me.

"The game continues! It's Kidou's ball. Begin!" The whistle was blown again, the game resuming.

I observed them from afar and watched their movements. I take quick glances at both of them, making sure I watch them even from afar.

Fudou made eye contact with Kidou and both nodded at something they agreed about and began dribbling the ball towards my goal.

I only stay in place, my feet positioned apart in order to move quicker. I mark my eyes on Kidou, one of them is definitely just a decoy. After some argument with myself, I lean my body slightly towards, a pass between these two will definitely occur and I'll just steal it by then.
