Chapter 4

~*Normal PoV*~

You snap back to reality and shook your head, disregarding the thoughts from earlier. You'll just deal with it later and move on. You wouldn't want to let your guard down. If Kidou or Fudou will shoot again then it would be a tie which is for your case, is not good.

The whistle was blown, the game resuming once more. It was your ball this time which is a good thing, you'll take advantage of this. You'll just pass them and shoot again. You let out a heavy sigh before going in full speed, dashing forward towards Kidou's goal.

"Kidou! Get Ready!" Endou warned as he looked at the match with excitement. Obviously eager to know who'll win in the end.

"Fudou! Get back! Go on defense!" Kidou turned his face to Fudou's position with a determined look on his face.

Fudou silently nodded and quickly made his way at the back. 'I see now... If Kidou fails to get the ball back and (L/n) passes him... He'll let me take over instead...' Fudou thought as he looked over to Kidou. 'Will it work though?...' Fudou doubted.

You ran your way towards Kidou, knowing very well that you'll have a one-on-one battle for a while. You controlled your breathing and steadied your pace. You didn't want any flaws to occur or else it would be a hassle to get the ball back.

You didn't have much time left you assume, that made you more determined to get the score. Soon enough you were already in front of the main game maker, Kidou... He was almost like you; observant, steady, and a strategist. He would observe everyone's moves, carefully eyeing you, looking at advantages and disadvantages, especially the weak points. You knew this well for you have observed him awhile ago since the beginning... You knew he was that type of person though he may have observed you well... but that doesn't mean you didn't observe him too.

"This is the end of the line, Kidou-kun... I'll score the last goal and leave." You spoke as you held unto the ball, not ever letting your guard down.

"I don't think so, (L/n), you'll have to pass me and Fudou first." Kidou formed a small smirk as he slightly held his head down though not breaking eye contact with you.

"We'll see about that..." You dully glared at him.

Kidou just awaited for your next move, already prepared for the upcoming move.

You tried to make a feint but he saw right through it, you admit to yourself that this was going to be tough. He tried to steal away the ball but you didn't let him. Soon an idea came into your mind.

'What if I try going back? There's a possibility he'll chase me or should I say the ball and try stealing it. Although if I'm quick enough I would be able to pass by him and make a run for the goal.' You thought to yourself.

You huffed and ran back, this action shocked the team. Why would you go back? This too shocked Kidou, this got him off guard. This was a good chance to pass him. Quickly, you turned around and ran pass Kidou.

You smiled to yourself at your own success. Now, all you need to do is pass Fudou. You dribble the ball towards Fudou's position, this would be a piece of cake... You thought to yourself and made it in front of Fudou.

"I am not going to let you pass me, (L/n)," Fudou blocked your way, making sure you wouldn't pass him and make the goal.

"Like I said, I will make the score and leave." You ended the conversation and kicked the ball high in the air making you jump at the ball's height. "Countdown Drop!" You kicked the ball in various directions while countdown on five until zero.
