Gabe rolls over in bed, pulling the wool blanket up and over him. He lays there a second before sighing. He quietly gets out of bed and creeps over to the wood burning stove. Being the middle of winter, he had to keep the fire going. Although, he always stays warm sleeping next to you. You always seem to warm him up whenever you are next to him. He gets the fire started and he shoves large chunks of wood into it. There, that should be good. He thinks to himself. His muscular arms start to get goosebumps, craving the warmth again. He tip toes, quiet not to wake you, and lifts the blankets up slowly. He slips in and immediately is relieved to be warm once again. He looks at you while you sleep. Your face always happy and at peace. It naturally calms him down to look at you. It's like you can never get mad at him and that feeling is contagious. He reaches out a hand and strokes your beautiful long hair. He silently wonders if you two are destined to have children. Or, if it is the right time. Gabe wants children badly, but you don't agree. It's only been a few months since you were married and you don't want to be weighed down with children. He understands and now thinks about what it would be like to have children running around. He smiles and continues to stroke your hair. There was just one question he has before he drifted off to sleep. How did I end up with someone like her. She is just beautiful.
