You lay in bed staring at the ceiling next to your husband Gabe. You have no clue what time it is, all you know is that he woke you up. Technically, his snoring woke you up. This has never been a problem before and it drives you nuts that it is a problem now. You sigh and turn your head to look at his large, dark outline. He is laying on his stomach, his arms under his pillow and his legs spread out a little bit. His side of the bed is slightly bigger than yours but that is respectable, considering his size. You can't help but let the anger melt away seeing his face. His face is calm and at peace, besides the drool running out the side of his mouth. The drool is all over his pillow and you struggle not to laugh. Closing your eyes again you try to sleep. Just as the darkness comes over your mind Gabe snores again and your eyelids shoot open. Alright, that's it. You rip the blankets off angrily and grab your pillow. Walking quietly you are about to walk out of the room when he stirs. "Where... Where are you going honey?" His sleepy voice slurs a little. Turning to look back through the doorway you see his head lifted up and little and a confused frown on his face. "I am sleeping on the couch because you were snoring." Without a word he gets out of bed and takes his pillow with him. He stops in front of you and smiles a tired smile. "You get in bed, I will sleep on the couch." You smile and nod. "Okay, are you sure?" He kisses your cheek and walks past you. "Yeah, I was the one snoring anyway." He feels his way down the dark hallway and onto the couch. You hear him trip over something and can't help but giggle at his clumsiness. You yawn and leap onto the bed. You burrow down in the spot where Gabe was last and shiver in excitement. Making yourself a human wrap, you smile at the warmth still lingering. You sleep all through the night without any other things waking you up. In the morning you don't hear Gabe indicating that he is still asleep. Walking out quietly to see if he was asleep you see he has fallen half onto the floor. A laugh erupts from your mouth as you observe him. His legs are still on the couch but everything else is on the floor. It looks very uncomfortable, his large frame doesn't move like that when he is awake. "Gabe..." You giggle some more, "Gabe! You can go get in bed if you want." He opens his sleepy eyes and moves a hand over his face. His legs drop from the couch onto the floor as he groans. "How did you sleep?" Your heart swells at his sincerity. Even though he is a little sore he still asks how you slept. You kneel down and through the blankets off of him. "I slept great, how did you sleep?" A smile creeps onto your face as he glares at you humorously. "I slept okay, I would've preferred sleeping with you but apparently you can't take me snoring." You roll your eyes and prepare to get up on one knee when he grabs you and pulls you back down on top of him. "Hey! I am hungry for breakfast and if you're lucky I will make you some too." He shrugs and looks up at you with his bright blue eyes. "I am not really hungry to be honest. I just want to snuggle." He gives you a pouty look that makes you give in. He hugs you tightly and pulls the blankets back over the both of you. "See, this is better isn't it?" You nod and lay your head on his chest over his heart. His hands caress your back as you bask in the warmth. His heart seems to be picking up in speed. "What are you thinking about Gabey?" "Nothing, why?" You look up at him. "Well your heart beat is getting faster, so I can tell you are thinking about something exciting." His cheeks blush a little red as he realizes he is caught red handed. "I, uh, I don't know. I was thinking that maybe, you know, we could get back I bed for awhile?" You face palm yourself and laugh. "What's so funny?" He asks defensively. "You know there is a word for that right?" He begins to pout again after you corrected him. "You are such a child sometimes, but it's cute." You climb off of him and hold out your hand for him to take. "No, take it back. I am not a child." He crosses his arms and looks at you indignantly. "Fine, you aren't a child." A smile returns to his face and he takes your hand. When he is up he picks you up bridal style and carries you towards the bedroom. "I can walk you know." You say raising an eyebrow at him. "Not for long sweetie." His grip tightens around you and your desire sky rockets. You lean up and kiss him on the cheek. "You are distracting me, I might drop you." He says pretending to let go. He laughs at your reaction before turning into your bedroom. He sets you gently on the bed and leans over you. "I will show you, I am not a child." He holds himself above you, kissing you more passionate than ever before.
