Gabe's excitement is contagious and you can't help but smile. Today you and Gabe are leaving for a hunting trip up in the mountains. That's right, just the two of you. You are excited because it will be a kind of honeymoon that you never got. "(Y/N), where did you put the socks at?" You look around the space on the floor and see the small pile of socks for the both of you. "Right there, it's right in front of you! Maybe I should take somebody with a little better sight with me. Ooooo, maybe I should take Bear with me." Gabe squints his eyes at you and grabs up his socks. "The only thing Bear is good at is climbing trees." You laugh at how defensive he gets and throw him a pair of jeans. "I'm just kidding Gabey, I would rather be with you anytime." He sneaks a smile on your direction and folds his jeans. "Well, I would hope, we are married ya know? I am finished packing, what about you?" He swings his bag over his shoulder and grabs up his rifle. You quickly stuff a blanket and pillow in your bag, "yup, all ready. You got the tent?" He pats the bottom of his bag and nods. You grab the pink rifle Rainy is letting you borrow and walk out the door. "You guys heading out?" Matt walks past you not really stopping for an answer. Gabe's arm wraps around your shoulders and he takes a deep breath in. "Ah, beautiful day! Let's get going I guess." He kisses the top of your head and grabs your hand to lead you down the path.
FIVE HOURS LATER
"Gabe, we should probably find a spot to set up camp." You huff behind him. He stops and leans on a tree letting his rifle rest on the ground. "Yeah, I guess I kinda lost track of time." He searches for the sun on the horizon covered by trees. You walk on ahead of him towards a clearing. The clearing is small but big enough for your tent and flat enough too. "Over hear Gabe." He walks up clearly tired. "Ooookay, let's set this up." It takes only a few minutes to set the tiny, two person tent up. "Do we want a fire or not?" You ask throwing your bag inside the tent. He shrugs and looks back across the forest. "We better start one to ward off the bears. Keeping your rifle on you you trek back down a little ways to find twigs and branches to start the fire. You build the fire and start it before Gabe comes back with a large armful of wood. After setting the fire you get some food out and share it with him. By now the sun has completely gone down and the full moon is up. Sitting next to him you admire the sky. "It's so pretty out here." You offer him some beans and he gladly takes them. "We should've brought more food, I am still hungry! I'm so hungry I could eat a bear!" He burps and falls back into the grass. "I am too old for this." He sighs dramatically. "Oh please, you are not too old." You lay down beside him and relish the warmth radiating from him. After a few moments of silence he speaks again. "So, uh, speaking about old.... When do you think the right time for kids is?" You sit for a second contemplating. "Anytime really, I think the less prepared you are, the more you learn. You may make a few mistakes every once and a while but, people make mistakes." He nods and holds you a little tighter. Suddenly he is kissing you with such passion your insides get all warm and your stomach does a flip flop. "What was that for?" You ask breathing hard, trying to make up for the lost air. "I figure we aren't going to get any younger, so why not now?" You blush, knowing what he is implying. You still blush whenever this topic comes up, or seeing each other naked. It's hard for you to get undressed with him around because you just don't have that high of self esteem. His body hovers over yours, and his eyes look directly into yours. You realize he is waiting for an answer. You grab him and bring him down on you. He is careful not to crush you too much. His kisses leave your mouth and go for your now exposed shoulder. "Gabe, aren't we supposed to be hunting right now?" He just laughs. "That can wait till tomorrow." He mumbles. "I need time with my beautiful wife, that is more important." He nibbles at your shoulder causing you to giggle. "Hey now! Quit that, it tickles." He just chuckles darkly and he  gets up taking you with him. You grab for his neck, afraid of falling. "Gee, I didn't know you could do that!" You hang onto him tightly. "You don't know the half of what I can do to you." He says quietly. His words sends a shiver down your spine and a burning desire for his body ignites. Dipping down into the tent he lays you down gently. Crawling over you he grins, "I am going to make you yell my name so loud, there will be no bears in a 10 mile radius." Your eyes widen at his brave remark. Let's just say no hunting got done that night and no animal was hunted until late in the afternoon.
