I hate my job. That is all there is to it. I hate it so much, the only up side is I get to see the Brown boys once a week. Usually on Fridays they come into the little store to by certain items. Lately, all of them have been coming by and just talking instead of buying. One of the boys especially likes to talk and that one is Gabe. The big, bulk of a man has taken a keen interest in me and to be honest, it's not that bad. I do find him very attractive, and being the same age and living by myself, it has taken over my mind. I can't do anything to get his sweet smile out of my mind, and just can't wait for Friday's anymore. Today, thank God is Friday and they should be getting here very soon. In fact, looking at the clock, they should be here within the hour. As the time ticks by only a few customers have come in and before you know it, it's closing time. I feel sad and let down. I need my dose of Gabe Brown. Why are the not here? What happened? I start to worry as I lock the doors and head to my truck. My truck starts easily and I head towards the diner. The diner is warm inside and has no customers. Natalie comes to the counter and asks what I want. I order some pancakes and water. Maybe that will cheer me up. I smell the pancakes as I wait, pitying myself. Then the door bell rings and you here laughter. That laugh sounds like Matt! I whip around and see Matt, Bam, and Gabe. My heart leaps out of your chest and i blush madly. I didn't realize how much I wanted to see him. They sit down in a booth and order pizza when Natalie comes up. I it awkwardly for awhile eating my pancakes. Suddenly their talking seems to go quiet. I am so tempted to turn around and see why they went quiet. Then someone comes sits next to me. Out of the corner of my eye I see Gabe's hulking form taking up the chair beside me. I look over, my heart beating fast again. "Uh... H..hi. M..my name is Gabe. Gabe Brown, I couldn't help but notice you sitting here by yourself. I don't want a p..pretty young woman like yourself sitting alone." I blush a deep red color and look over at him, mustering up courage to say something. "Uh, huh, thank you. Nobody has every called me pretty before. My name is (y/n)." I brush a stray piece of hair behind my ear and take a sip of water. He smiles that sweet, heart melting smile. His blue eyes seem to look straight into my soul as he glances behind me. "Would you like to sit with us?" He motions to his booth. I smile and nod, "Yes, I sure would. Natalie! I'm done here!" She nods and takes my plates as I walk with Gabe to the booth. Bam and Matt smile and say hello. I move into the booth and slide over to make room for Gabe. We talk for a while before it gets very dark. "Well, guys, we have to get back and get to sleep. We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow. (J/n), thank you for joining us for dinner. " Matt skied our and so does Bam. Bam nods at me and smirks at Gabe. Gabe moves out and waits for me to join him. We walk out together. The other boys are out of sight already. He hesitates by my truck, he turns to look at me. "So uh, we should be back soon, maybe Monday?" He looks sad as looks into my eyes. His shoulders are visibly slumped and he just doesn't want to leave. I get the urge to lean into him and kiss him. I am sure he feels the same urge I do. We stand there looking at each other. His eyes keep looking from left to right across my face. "God, your beautiful." He blurts out. I, once again, blush madly. "Ah, see! I at least know that you find me attractive too!" I laugh and nod looking down at my shoes. He brings his hand up to my chin and gently leans my head back. Once our eyes meet, he leans down. His lips touch mine and my stomach erupts with butterflies. His arms wrap around me as the kiss gets passionate. We start to loose our breath so we pull away. His hand is trembling at my waist. "What I am going to do without you?" He says with a shaky voice. "Ever since I saw you at the register, I knew I had to have you. I want you so bad." My body is pulsing and warming up. Apparently my body wants him to. It is so tempting to just take him back to my place. But, he has to go and so do I. "I want you too, but you can wait till Monday, right?" He nods with disappointment in his eyes. He lets go of me and opens the door for me. I lean forward and kiss him one more time. He has just the perfect kiss. "Goodbye, Gabe. See you Monday." He nods, "See you later." I close my door and watch him walk off toward the dock. He throws one gist on the air and jumps. Giggling, I pull out and start to head home, not knowing how am I to wait until Monday.
