Elmville is a town that is totally isolated from the rest of the world it is surrounded by the great presence of elmit, which is a powerful
barrier produced by the elmit tree.

This barrier was put into place to keep all outside influences out and to keep the minds of the town people pure in 2028. This was before the massive fire that burned the rest of the world in 2077.

The barrier goes from the Earth's ground to Earth's atmosphere which saved Elmville from the fire of 2077.

The elmit tree is not your typical everyday tree it is machine there is no dirt, no leaves, or branches on this tree but rather air filters sucking in air and cleaning it. which provides the town with oxygen.

The barrier didn't only save the town from the fire. But Also from the polluted air which was killing people all around the world.

The Watinds highly believe that the barrier saved humanity and that we are the only survivors left in the world. To keep order and prolong the race of humanity the Watinds put in place the first order who enforces the rules and laws of Elmville.

In Elmville everyone has a certain job in the town besides work and taking care of family, jobs for the watinds.

One of the laws in the town is that every member of the town must dedicate themselves to the Watinds, a way to do this is to fulfill jobs for them that help the town function.

The Watinds is a group of highly respected men and women that are choosen to run the town safely. The members are choosen every five years with four women and 8 men being chosen by the memwards which are the town's elders.

The mom's of the town prepare dinner for the whole town everyday at 6 o'clock. Where all the towns folk and elders meet in the Brewer lounge for updates about the barrier and of course dinner. The children from ages five to seven all help with setting up the lounge for dinner with the mom's and go to primary schooling 7 days a week.

Ages eight to ten all help keep the town homes clean, they go home to home from 1 o'clock to 4 o'clock once a week on Tuesdays cleaning and go to secondary school 6 days a week. Ages 11 to 13 all go to talk to the elders for commencing every other day and attend tertiary school 6 days a week.

Ages 14 to 19 go to dedication school of Elmville, which is where they live sleep and learn away from home under close watch of the Watinds to see where they will be placed in the community they dedicate themselves fully to the Watinds here.

This is where it all started on Alice's first day of Dedication School of Elmville. Alice first class was English class with Mr. Jefferson, in room A21.

She walked in the classroom early and picked out a sit in the second row of the classroom. She was patiently waiting for class to start when she noticed Johnathan the most handsome, tall, and sweet boy she has ever known enter the classroom.

Her heartbeat started to race and her hands started to sweat as she realized that he was heading right towards the seat next to her. She wanted to get up and sit somewhere else but didn't want it to seem like she didn't want to sit next to him so she just hoped that he wouldn't talk to her and sat quietly.

She had a crush on him since primary school but never once talked to him.

"hey Alice, how are you doing today?" Johnathan said "How do you know my name?" Alice said. She was shocked that this boy she never talked to before knew her name. That someone so perfect would even talk to her.

"I'm sorry if I seem creepy. I know your name because my father works for the dedication school and I help him make the students schedules and your face was easy to remember from your transcripts, because I remember you from primary school."

By this time the class was starting to began, the teacher's lesson was about the chain of command in their community, it was about who report to who kind of thing all the students knew this like the back of their hand due to every year on the first day of school they went over this.

Everything was fine until the towns emergency alarm started whaling, everyone in the class started to panic, no one knew what to do but scream and run to the door.

Every one rushed out the doors and headed towards the underground shelters, which is in the town square it is a long way from the school, two miles away to be exact.

Johnathan grabbed Alice's hand in an effort to not lose her in the huge crowd, he felt a sense of responsibility to keep her safe.

In an instant a bright red light coming from above started to shine on the crowd of people and then people started disappearing into the air their bodies being torn into pieces, as if bombs were exploding, there was no big boom or any kind of loud nose signaling a bomb explosion.

For a moment it was as if the world sat still there was no more screaming and a sense of relieve fell over Alice.

She awoke on the floor in a haze, Johnathan had her in his arms trying to calm her down. All kind of thoughts started to race in her mind, what was happening to her? How can she imagine all this, was this a sign?

She quickly got up and ran out, she was confused and didn't want to be there anymore. She knows it is against the rules to leave but feels like she have to.
if she don't, she would explode from humiliation.

The watinds would punish her for breaking the rules, but she wasn't thinking, she couldn't deal with being there for one more minute.
