A loud thud echoed throughout the cabin. Johnathan and Chris both woke up instantly, they both walked out of the room together grabbing objects as they left the room to use just in case it's intruders. Johnathan grabbed a baseball bat, while Chris grabbed a pair of scissors from the table by the door.

A loud boom coming from the kitchen uttered as they exit the room, they both entered the hallway tense and afraid of what could be in the kitchen.

Turning around the corner of the hallway they entered thru the doorway of the kitchen they see a figure of a person in the dark.
They freeze as they came to realize that their fear was true...

Their heartbeat rising with every step they take. Johnathan reached for the light switch as slow as possible to not let the intruder become aware of their presence in the kitchen as he turned on the light he noticed bags of things being thrown into the window.

This is unusual Johnathan thought to himself. Then he turned on the light it was bright to their eyes, the boys squinted at the brightness, blinded by the light.

It's Alice... Climbing through the kitchen window, it's four o'clock A.M, she's dropping her belongings through the window.

"Alice, what are you doing here?" johnathan said surprised."

"I was scared to be all alone in my cabin after yesterday's long day, I bearly was able to go to sleep last night. who is that? Chris is that you?" Alice says

Alice ran over to Chris and embraced him, she started to cry, the warmth of his body, the smell if his hair it all reassured her he's alive. Over the years of him being gone she assumed he was dead.

She thought he would never been able to survive all on his own, hiding from the town Elders, Watinds, and the Memwards, the town is under close watch by them, they know everything and see everything. How could he been gone for so long and no one notice?

She wondered where he's been all this time, and why he left, and why he came back? She felt great to know one of her best freinds as a child is not dead, but a sense of anger filled inside of her.

She was angry that Chris didn't tell her he was okay, or why he had to go, she wanted answers for having to think all this time he was dead, she needs to know.

"Chris where have you been all this time, why are you back after so long? Why couldn't you tell us why you had to leave? A simple 'I am fine' when you left would have been great you know! I've been forced to believe no other than you were dead, how could you do this Johnathan and I we was your best freinds, why?"
