Alice ran to Johnathan, "we must save them". Alice says as she pulls on his arm
The town's emergency alarm started whaling and screeching throughout the town.
"Oh no the red light is next, run everyone run. We can make it only one block left." Alice says assuring everyone.
Alice takes Johnathan's hand and run towards the underground shelters. "Hurry, hurry" Johnathan says as he pushes through the crowd of students holding on to Alice's hand.
Alice and Johnathan makes it to the underground shelters, but instead if going inside, they yell hurry at the students running down the street. Alice and Johnathan starts to notice a red beem of light coming from above down the street, far behind the students.
They look at eachother in total shock. They wondered if the students would make it, wondering if that single moment of taking showers and talking in the cabin about their kiss might of just took the lives of the students left running.
They could not live with themselves if anyone dies do to their mistake of wasting time at the cabin. Without thinking they both sprinted away from the shelters toward the few students that were left still running towards the underground shelters. They knew that if they can get them inside the shelters everyone would be saved.
They ran and grabbed the students arms and hands running with them, pushing them all towards the underground shelters. Once there they all piled in one by one.
They all made it, Johnathan thought to himself relieved that everyone is safe, but a switch went off in his head, he thought where is Chris, he don't remember seeing him run to the underground shelters. He ran over to Alice in a panic grabbing her hands. "Where is Chris"? He says.
"I don't know, I didn't see him." Alice says
"What if...what if he didn't make it..what if he's... Gone". Johnathan says
"Calm down the odds are he did make it out, but we just didn't see him. We was too busy running and saving everyone to notice". Alice says smiling at Johnathan.
"I have seen something that might be very important". A young man says as he approach Johnathan and Alice.
"What have you seen"? Alice asks
"It seem to me that the red light coming from above, only surrounded the school and this area, only this two mile radius around the school. To me that's weird, I thought to myself why is the red light only around this area? Why isn't the whole town under attack? Why just us the students at the dedication school"? The young man asks
"What did we all do to deserve this"? The young man continues as he walks away.
"Do you know what that mean Johnathan? They, who ever, they are only wanted to harm us, the students of the school. Why"? Alice asks looking up into Johnathan's eyes.
"I don't know, my guess would be because of you... Who knows." johnathan says. He's only joking and meant nothing by his statement. For some reason it sparked something in Alice.
"Do you remember the rules handbook of the town? It states that if a rebel is identified, and there is a reason to suspect that the rebel has brain washed peers around. Then the elders have the right to end it by any means possible. To stop the spread of the rebellious behavior, you're right it is because of me." Alice says
"Well I.. Didn't know why. I just was trying to joke." Johnathan says
"Everyone, please listen, we have reason to believe that the elders, which is the memwards want all of us dead. Due to the fact we was peers to a rebel... Well someone that is considered a rebel... Which that someone is clearly not. Johnathan says
"What I'm trying to say is that, the red light we saw, that was going to kill us all, was the memwards. They are the ones behind all of this. We must stop them before they come up with another plan". Johnathan continues.
"Yea people gather around, who's with us, we must fight against them to make it till we are free from their death hold on us. Together they can't stop us." Alice says
Will they all go against the memwards and become rebels to live? Will they even make it out the shelters without another attack? Where is Chris, did he make it out?
