"Wake up sleepy head." Dolan Smith says
"Where am I? Where is Alice?" Johnathan asks as he awakes.
"As soon as you give us what we want I promise you get to see your friend again." Dolan Smith says as he grins.
"What do I have that you want"? Johnathan ask
"Oh don't play stupid with me. I know you have it. Henry Gilson told me." Dolan Smith says frowning.
"The elder who works at the dedication school, told you I have what"? Johnathan asks
"How about this, once your ready to talk I'll come back and listen". Dolan Smith says as he walks out of the room.
Johnathan now alone, looks around the room searching for a way out. He's not handcuffed or tied down. But his broken leg would prohibit him from walking.
The room is actually a basement, there is only one small window which barely allows the moonlight to seep through.
The cold night air flows through the window's opening, freezing Johnathan more and more after each breeze. He shakes as he thinks about what Mr.Smith said.
'what can I give him that he wants, I have no clue. I can trick him to letting me go... Tell him I know where IT is...maybe its my only way out' Johnathan thinks to himself.
Johnathan's leg is pounding with pain, all bruised and battered. He can see his bone all crooked and out of place, his knee shattered. He tries to move it, to get closer to the stairs that leads out of the basement, but is unsuccessful in his attempts.
Every little movement hurts, making him wince under the pain. Then he thinks about Alice wondering if Dolan has her too, wondering is she's okay.
He thinks 'maybe she's out the hospital trying to find me'. All these thoughts ran through Johnathan's mind playing with his emotions.
He's angry that he cannot remember how he was taken from the hospital. Sad that he couldn't protect Alice and the other students. Confused about why this whole issue had to happen to him. All he wants is a normal life again, with Alice by his side, happy. And for the first time in love with eachother.
It has been hours since Johnathan was taken from the hospital. Now 3 A.m. Johnathan is asleep on the cold cement basement floor.
He shakes from the cold and also from the pain in his left leg. He dreams about Chris wondering will he ever see him again and wonder if he's even still alive. Blaming himself for Chris's disappearance.
Meanwhile at Elm hospital, Alice is sitting on Johnathan's bed, surprisingly she's calm, will at least physically. Her mind is not calm, but wether pacing around in her head. she goes over those few minutes of when she left Johnathan alone.
Thinking about where he could possibly be. She feels the pillow which Johnathan's head was rested on, trying to see if it's still warm. The pillow has blotchy spots of blood from his head on it, and has the impression of Johnathan's head embarked in it.
Soon as her hand makes contact with the pillow, Alice is overwhelmed with images. She can see a small window on a side of a abandoned building, a street sign with the name "vainly", and the address on the building, reading "34578''. She can feel Johnathan's presence in the building, she knows he's there.
Will Alice find Johnathan?
