It was now around early September, I suddenly jolted up in bed grabbing hold of Alan as pain swam all over me. He knew it was time!
We rushed to the hospital and after 9 hours of nothing, we finally had a baby! Alan held my hand the whole way through it, hes so supportive! Our baby was born healthy and full of energy, I loved him instantly.
A few hours later we could take him home, I sat down on the bed with our baby and Alan suddenly flipped his iphone out and took a picture of all three of us! He put it onto twitter and instagram, "Me, Lily and our little Alfie!" he then put his phone back away and took Alfie from me, cuddling him! They were adorable together.
The next morning our house was full of people, gifts and laughs, everyone had come to see the baby, Kellin spent most of the time holding Alfie, he looked so good with kids, as did Austin! "Hey Kellin, Austin come over here" I nodded for them to come over. Kellin walked over still holding Alfie, "You and Austin can be unofficial uncles if you want" I laughed. Kellin's face could have been more full of his smile right now, Austin gave a little cheer and they both started talking to the baby. "Hear that, were your uncle Kellin and Uncle Austin" and then they continued playing with Alfie and all the toys everyone had bought him.
We took Alfie to literally everywhere we could think of, we wanted him to experience as much as possible even though he was now only about a month old, he was pretty lucky as he had such a big family, and all so loving, for example, he had all Of Mice and Men, Pierce The Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, his uncle Damien and of course me and Alan, he was pretty spoilt if im honest.
Mikes girlfriend, Rihanna and I had been hanging out quite recently as she was trying to get some tips off of me for convincing Mike to have a baby, I didn't really help though as I didn't have any tips and this wasn't planned, but I wouldn't change it for the world.
Rihanna loved hanging out with me and Alfie, we would sometimes go out shopping or to the pool or anything really, she was my only friend who was a girl.
Saying bye to Rihanna I went indoors and found Alan asleep on the sofa with Barney. Speaking of Barney, he had taking a very good liking to Alfie too, he was very protective of him, sometimes he treated Alfie like his own puppy!
I kissed Alan's forehead which of course woke him up, his face lit up when he opened his eyes to see Alfie and he held his arms out to take him from me.
I then heard a knock at the front door, confused I went to the door, I was confronted by a short man, he looked kind of old, but his face I recognized. "Hey Lily?" I recognized his deep gruff voice, was this the man I hadn't spoken to for months on end? "Dad?" I questioned. He smiled and hugged me.
After a long chat about how hes out of rehab and doing good now, he somehow got into contact with my friends to find out where I live. I hadn't seen him since that time I found him hanging himself, so he hadn't met Alan or Alfie.
They both walked in the room as me and my dad were talking, my dad turned to look at them, "Oh, your staying with friends?" he asked pointing to Alan and Alfie. "Uh..no," I walked over to Alan and Alfie taking Alfie from Alan and sitting on the sofa again but with Alan next to me. "This is my boyfriend Alan, and our baby Alfie" I said, Alan put his arm around me and dragged me closer to him "Hello" he said to my dad and smiled, shockingly my dad smiled back. "Can I hold him?" my dad asked, pointing to Alfie. "Yeah sure, he's your grandson" I chuckled and handed him over. He cradled little month old Alfie in his arms, I'd never seen him look so comfortable with children, as he wasn't the nicest dad whilst I was growing up.
"I guess he gets his red hair from you...Alan?" dad said as he looked up at Alan trying to think whether he had remembered his name properly. "Yeah, but he gets his beautiful eyes from his mum" Alan replied pointing at my eyes. Dad compared our eyes and smiled, "I agree!" he said kissing Alfie on the forehead.
My dad ended up staying for dinner, "any more vegetables, sir?" Alan said as he passed the bowl of mixed vegetables over to my dad, "Jesus Christ boy, call me Neil!" he laughed, he always hated being all official, "But yes thank you" he smiled at Alan taking the bowl from him and refilling his plate.
