The next morning Kat wakes up to the sun shining through the window right into her face, and she rolls over in bed to look at her phone. The time is 8:00, and Kat sighs and sits up, deciding she might as well get up for the day.
She puts her arms above her head and stretches as she stands up and walks to the bathroom to get ready. She takes a quick shower and gets dressed, then brushes her teeth and dries her hair. She puts her hair up into a bun on top of her head and does her makeup, then makes her way back out of the bathroom to go downstairs.
Kat tip-toes past Noel's sleeping body as she makes her way out of the room, smiling at how his mouth is hanging open and how he only has half of the covers still on him. She quietly passes him without waking him up, then makes her way downstairs to get some breakfast. The guys had had someone stock up their kitchen before they got back, and Kat was wondering what type of things she'd find to eat.
She makes her way down to the kitchen, and finds Addi sitting at the bar with a cup of coffee.
"Hey," Kat says, smiling and walking into the kitchen.
"Hiya! What're you doing up already?" Addi replies.
Kat walks to the fridge, opening it and looking around for what she might want to eat. She finds an apple, and grabs it and the milk and pours herself a glass then sits down beside Addi at the bar.
"The sun woke me up. You?" Kat responds.
"I'm just an early riser. I'm always up before 8:00."
"I wish I was like that. I really need to start getting up early again for my workouts. But then again I really don't know a gym I could go to here in Chicago."
"I'm sure there's tons. The guys are wanting to go out and explore the city today so I bet we could find you a good gym while we're out," Addi says.
Kat smiles and takes a bite of her apple. "Sounds great."
"So.. how'd you sleep?" Addi asks, taking a sip of her coffee.
Kat sighs. "I slept good but I'm sure Noel didn't. He gave me his bed and he slept on the floor. And I feel awful about it."
Addi's eyes widen. "Noel gave up his bed for you? Dang, he must really like you because that boy cherishes his sleep."
"I do what?" A voice asks, and the girls look over to see Noel rounding the corner into the kitchen. Kat giggles at his appearance, still in his boxers and a t-shirt with his hair pointing in every direction.
"How do you know we were talking about you?" Addi asks as Noel opens the fridge and grabs the orange juice. Noel rolls his eyes and pours himself a cup.
"Did I wake you up when I was getting ready? I'm sorry," Kat says as Noel takes a drink.
"No, the sun woke me up. It was shining through the window straight into my face," Noel replies as he rubs his eyes.
"That's what woke me up too. Guess we need to get some curtains," Kat says with a laugh.
"One day in and she's already trying to decorate our room," Noel says, putting his arm around Kat's shoulder.
Kat blushes and gives him a little shove. "Oh hush. You can just let the sun wake you up again tomorrow morning then."
"Hey wait. Weren't we planning on spending the day in the city today?" Noel asks Addi.
Addi nods. "Yup. But who knows when those guys will be up."
"I'll go get 'em. We can get those curtains while we're out!" Noel yells as he runs down the hallway to go wake up the other boys.
