Let me just tell you one thing, the teachers here don't care what we do, as long as it's not killing someone. We have a kid that smokes pot in the back of English every year. The teachers never learn.
This year was no different. Each group finding seats near each other. Ashton in the middle row, on the far left, me far right. Me and Katy had it figured out. The jocks sat in first and second, with the cheer leaders behind them. The teachers always separated us by rows. So each row was a group for whatever projects or papers were assigned to us. So me and Katy always sat in middle.
This years was no different. I had the same schedule as Ashton this year, but me and Katy had different third and fourth hours. No big deal. Yet.
I have first hour social studies. And of course, Mr. Dellenger assigned a project. Even though I was in Ashton's group he never gave me a second glance.
By the fourth period I was so tired of seeing him and Lacy together. I set myself up for hurt every time, but I can't help it, he was the golden boy, and everybody wanted him.
Him and lacy came in late to advisory period, giving each other hungry stares. It was gross to be honest, and I looked away. Lacy was flushed and I noticed that Ashton had her lipstick on his throat. Nasty.
The next few days past the same, Ashton and Lucy coming to fourth hour later and later until they didn't come at all. Of course the teacher loved Ashton and they didn't care, so they got away with it. Then one day, about two months later, Ashton did. Nobody knew why but he came in and stared right at me, anger obvious in his eyes.
