I awoke to Ashton standing over me, and Mrs. Calaivra.
"Alice! You're ok!!"
"Ashton tone your voice down. She just woke up."
I sat up. The pain in my head like an ax was embedded in it.
"So I am in whose bed this time?"
"Mine Alice." Ashton looked down at me with such concern that I felt a lump start to form in my throat before I answered.
"Oh. Does your mom know I'm here?"
"I am his mom dear." Mrs. Calavira responded.
"But you have different last names."
"If we kept the same last name the angel council would be suspicious. He would be removed at once."
"Oh" I said lamely.

All of this was a little much to take in. I laid back down and closed my eyes and soon I fell into a deep sleep.

I was in an underground tunnel. I could tell because of the roots coming down from the ceiling like snakes. I pushed the thought back in my head. Now would not be a good time for phobias. As I walked forward I saw a light at the end of the tunnel. How cliche. And cheesy. It got brighter once I reached the end and I stepped out into a hollow cavern of the purest crystal I'd ever seen. And standing in front of me was my dad.
