Ty and the rest of the group all jumped out of their boats and pulled them to shore,-

But Ty had the most trouble doing it.
Has absolutely no one noticed Ty limping and you know...just kinda dying...in the back?
Jason: Sky I think Ty's hurt.
Sky: nah he's just tired.

When he jumped out the boat-
Knowing he had a hurt leg? Jeez Ty, what were you thinking?

Knowing he had a hurt shoulder. I mean he could've easily asked for help and nobody would've accused him of being hurt; but no man hormones and 'he has to be super manly' and what not.
Now a sin off because that's pretty accurate what would've happened.

Another Pet Peeve of FanFics: The main character almost diying because they 'didn't want to worry their friend.' If he told them there's literally nothing wrong with them stopping to check it out, it'd only drag out their time there. And they couldn't of done anything about it anyways. They'd be like "oh yeah that looks bad. Welp we should go on!"
Yes I know I don't write books yet sin them, yes I know I sound butthurt. But that's kinda my job soooo-

Now that I think about it, I'm guessing the poison was some specially enchanted one by Herob*tch because poison doesn't last that long in Minecraft. But poison only takes you down to half a heart. Unless withered. Then Ty should be dead by now.
Either way I'm disappointed in Flashlight Eyes.
