Decorating?

Winter

      I sat on the edge of a small twin sized bed swinging my legs back and fourth. I was short, and had gotten into the habit. Makeria sat across from me on an identical bed. Mira had offered us an apartment in the building where most the female wizards in the guild stayed. Her offer was very generous, and we took it gratefully, considering we had nowhere else to go.

     It was a three room apartment, one room consisted of a small kitchen and living room, another room was our bathroom, and the final was our bedroom. The apartment seemed kind of empty, seems how we had no belongings to put in it. We didn't even have spare clothes. The realization made me shiver.

      "What's wrong?" Makeria asked me.

      "We don't have any clothes," I replied simply.

      Makeria started to laugh, "I've got us covered."

      I stared at her in confusion. I was tired from my battle, and my brain wasn't exactly working like it usually does. Makeria began to pull a key out of her belt. Oh Venus, I realized.

      "Are you sure? Aren't you still tired from today?" I asked cautiously.

      Makeria waved me off, "What do you think I am some weakling?"

      That's not what I meant, and she knew it. Makeria began her chant before I could say anything else. "Gate of the Love Goddess, I open thee Venus!" she yelled. A pink magic circle appeared on the wall. Venus, goddess of love and beauty, emerged gracefully. Venus wore a formal pink dress that had a slit in the leg, and came down in a love v-neck. Her exposed shoulders and uncovered leg showed her sun kissed skin tan. Her hair came down past her waist, the blonde color faded into a pink ombre, and her eyes were bright green. She moved elegantly.

      "Yes Sugar?" Venus asked, her voice rich and soothing.

      Makeria smiled, "Think you can help us decorate?"

      Venus smiled mischievously. With a wave of her arm multiple rolls of wall paper and materials appearing beside Makeria and I. Venus then pulled a tape measure out of thin air, and proceeded to measuring all the walls. She began murmuring things I could barely hear. I heard, "Let's see... this here... Maybe a dresser... How about pink?" Venus continued to mumble, ignoring Makeria and I.

      I glanced at Makeria, slightly overwhelmed by the scene around us. Makeria was staring at Venus in awe. She really did adore her spirits. I smiled at her.

      "Hey, I'm going to go get some fresh air," I said.

      Makeria turned her attention to me. She smiled shooting me a wink, "Okay just don't get lost.'

      I nodded, stepping outside of our apartment. I navigated my way down several hallways aligned with doors. I didn't exactly know why I wanted to be outside all of a sudden, but I decided to go with it. I walked down the streets of Magnolia, not really paying attention to my surroundings.

      I began to sort through my thoughts. Tomorrow we would begin our training to defeat Acnologia, and I needed to create a plan. I let out a sigh. What if we loose? I don't want to drag the Fairy Tail guild down with me. I was so grateful for their help, I didn't want to hurt them. I had gotten to caught up in my own thoughts, I bumped into someone. I smacked my head on their shoulder, resulting in my falling on my butt.

      I let out an oof. Why was I so clumsy? I began to brush off my clothes when I saw a hand extended towards my face. I gladly took it.

     "I'm terribly sorry," I said, looking up at the person I bumped into.

      The poor woman I bumped into was very pretty. She had long black hair that came past her butt, and she had brown eyes that shimmered in the light. She had on a tight leather jacket and black leather pants. Her features were very defined and sharp. She smiled down at me.

     "That's all right. Now why don't you head home Ice Princess?" the woman said, her voice was deep and powerful.

      I gave her a questioning look, Ice Princess? She smirked, then everything went black.
