The Start of Something New

     We walked down the road leading to Fairy Tail for around a mile, then we approached what seemed to be a guild hall. The Fairy Tail name and emblem hovered above the entrance. Lani stood by my feet, I could tell from her expression she was quite curious. I shared her feelings. On top of my curiosity, I couldn't help but feel enthusiastic. We were getting comrades, it was awesome. I glanced over at Winter who looked at me in return. I knew her so well, I could practically read her like a book.

     Her eyes reflected wonder and hope, the dark blue color made her look elegant. Her nervousness was practically radiating off of her. She always seemed to expect the best in people, so it was unusual to feel her uncertainty. I couldn't blame her, these were the first people we had been in contact since we were small, and we were asking them to be our friends. I smiled at her reassuringly.

     "Shall we?" I questioned her.

     She smiled at me, "Let's do it."

     I stepped towards the door confidently. Even through the thick doors I could hear the hectic noises coming from inside. I took a deep breath and swung the door open. I stepped inside Winter following suit. Multiple head snapped towards us, interrupting the chaos that seemed to be taking place. The magic power radiating from the room was strong. Despite the strange looks we were receiving, I smiled and waved at the group of wizards.

     "So, is this the Fairy Tail guild?" I asked, large smile still displayed on my face.

     "Sure is, are you here to deliver a job request?" a beautiful woman holding a tray of drinks responded.

     She walked towards us, stopping a few feet away. Her white hair bobbed as she walked, and her dress showed off her curves. Despite her beauty, her expression seemed slightly confused. As if she was seeing something out of the ordinary. Heck, this probably was.

     "Sort of, well we need help. It's a long story," Winter explains.

     "Well, why don't you all sit down?" A woman with scarlet hair suggested. Her voice was full of authority.

     "Yeah, we'd love to hear what you guys have to say!" A perky blonde girl contributed.

     The blonde was sitting at a table right behind the white haired woman from before. Her smile was warm and inviting. Next to her sat a boy with spiky pink hair. He had a toothy grin on his face, and a blue cat sat on his head. Across from him was a black haired wizard, who had his arms folded across his chest. Next to him and across from the blonde girl, was a cute girl with blue pony tails. Beside her stood a white cat.

     "Before we explain, is there someone in charge here? We're asking for a lot, and wouldn't want to do anything without their consent," I stated.

     "Gramps is actually out right now," the guy with black hair said.

     "We'll send him the information by letter, why don't you girls just begin you story?" the woman with Scarlet hair said.

     I nodded and Winter smiled. We sat down at the head of the table where the blonde girl was sitting. Everyone seemed to turn their attention to us. Well except for one blue haired girl farther away, who seemed to be staring at the black haired wizard intently. I glanced over at Winter, I wanted her to do the talking, seems how she was so much better at it than I was. Winter took in a deep breath, then began our story.
