Winter
We formed into our small groups, mine of which consisted of Gray, Lucy, and Juvia. We stood in front of the ice dragon I had created. I explained the general guidelines of our mission and the purpose of our groups.
"As soon as the attacking group has Acnologia distracted, we move in. Our objective is to immobilize him. Juvia's water magic should provide an advantage to Gray and I," I turned to Lucy, "I hear you have a celestial whip? I believe that will be quite effective, if you have any spirits you think could help our cause, they would be greatly appreciated," Lucy nods. "As soon as we have immobilized Acnologia we have to keep him that way until the attack group does enough damage. Then we can deliver the killing blow. Any questions?" I finished.
The group shook there heads.
"Lets fight this thing," Gray said, smiling eagerly.
I returned his smile, then turned to the attack group, "Hey are you guys ready?" I yelled to them.
"Yeah!" they replied in unison.
"Okay," I turned to the artificial dragon, "Attack!"
As soon as I gave the dragon the command it sprung to life. It stared down at us, assessing it's situation. It my group and I with its tail. We jumped to avoid the hit.
"Remember the plan!" I shouted to everyone.
"Hey big guy, over here!" Natsu yelled, getting the dragon's attention.
The dragon let out a roar of ice, shooting icicles at the attack group. Erza changed her armor, forming a shield around the group. The icicles clanged off and fell to the ground. The dragon let out a frustrated roar, diverting its full attention to the group. Makeria led everyone away from the dragon at high speed.
"Juvia!" I shouted, hoping she would understand.
Juvia nodded, using her magic to create a thin layer of water all around the dragon.
Our group charged towards the dragon, Gray and I leading the pack. As we began to get close, the dragon noticed us, it attempted to crush us with its feet and swipe at us with its tail. We managed to avoid the first couple swipes, but then something unexpected happened. The dragon grew another tail.
I stopped dead in my tracks. I didn't tell it to do that! The dragon shouldn't have been able to change or adapt itself unless I told it to do so. In the few seconds I froze, a tail swung at me. I braced myself for impact, only it didn't come. Gray had grabbed me by my waist and swept me out of the way.
"What's going on?" he exclaimed.
"I... I don't know," I stuttered, avoiding more attacks, with Gray by my side.
Makeria and the others seemed to have noticed we were in trouble. Gajeel glanced at Natsu and Makeria, and they all attacked at the same time. Erza summoned at least a hundred swords and plummeted them into the dragon's eyes. The dragon let out a terrible screech. Then did something else I wasn't expecting, it grew another head.
What was going on? This wasn't supposed to be happening.
I focused all my attention on the dragon, "Stop! Stop!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
The dragon simply turned its attention on me, then attacked with both its heads. I dodged the first head, but the other hit my side. "Winter!" I heard someone yell. I crashed into a tree. I heard someone running towards me, and as I regained my composure, I realized it was Wendy.
"Stop get away! It's out of control!" I yelled to her.
"I have to help my friend," she replied simply.
As Wendy worked her magic on me I looked at everyone else. Lucy and Juvia layed unconscious on the ground. Natsu, Makeria, and the others were still attacking with all their might. The dragon had taken almost no damage. Why wasn't it working? I had done this routine before a hundred times. No something was wrong. As soon as I was feeling relatively normal, I thanked Wendy then told her to leave. She refused, and instead charged into the battlefield headed towards Lucy and Juvia.
I ran right after her. I darted around everyone, who seemed to be struggling, and went straight to the legs. Gray followed suit. The water Juvia had created disappeared, but I didn't need it to do damage. Gray and I focused all of our power on one leg, trying to get it in one place, while avoiding the constant attacks. I gasped as I watched Makeria and Natsu get flung like rag dolls. We finally succeeded in freezing the dragons leg to the ground.
"Everyone attack!" I yelled as loud as I could.
But as everyone got close, the dragon grew more and more heads, enough for everyone to fight. It went by in a blur, before I got knocked out cold, all I remembered was a voice like honey I had heard before.
"Pathetic. Lets take the ice wizards, I suppose they can be of use," then all I saw was darkness.
