Chapter Five

"Weird might I say."

As I walk with Josh to second-period, I felt as if things were strange. I keep hearing growls, Carla said "I'm human" like I don't exist and everyone looks "flawless." I mean no, I don't go around telling people they are cute or ugly, but everyone is handsome or beautiful. I feel like I'm the one that's out of place here.

Our second-period class was math and I walk directly to the teacher this time to introduce myself. The teacher name was Mr. Wilkes and he gave my math book and told me to pick a seat. Josh had one ready for me beside him. I was grateful to have a cousin in the classroom with me.

"Val this is Matthew and his ma... girlfriend Nicole, Jason and Jazz."

"Hi," I said as I waved my hand. They all said hello back.

As class was about to begin and Josh gets a text and looks at me and said he will be back, he had to step out of the classroom. All he did was nod to Mr. Wilkes and he nodded back.

'Woh did he just nod to the teacher and left the classroom like its normal. Where they do this at.' As the class continued, I started to feel a little hot. Something came over me all of a sudden and I had a terrible headache. I raise my hand to go to the nurse.

"Yes, Miss Miller" Mr. Wilkes look irritated.

"May I go to the nurse I am not feeling well."

"Go" was all he said. As I stood up to collect my books just in case, I didn't make it back to that classroom. Jason stop me.

"Do you even know where the nurse room is?"

I look at him skeptically. I know I shouldn't just trust these people, but this headache felt like pins and needles. I knew if Josh got back to the room he would look for me. "No, please show me" was all I said.

Jason led me to the door. I felt a little dizzy and I think he could tell. He places his hand on my lower back to steady me. I didn't understand what was going on with me I've never experienced a headache as bad as this. I kept stumbling instead of walking.

"I can carry you if you like," Jason said worriedly. I don't think I was coherent enough to give him an answer because the next thing I knew Jason was carrying me in his arms. Then he stops walking I assumed I was at the nurse office but he just started walking. Suddenly I fell to the ground hitting my butt and head hard on the ground. I saw him have Jason on the lockers with his hands around his neck. Jason isn't trying to claw at him to release him. 'Jason do something he's going to kill you' but it was just a thought nothing came out. I was in so much pain. I tried to get up but fell I was still dizzy. I attempted to speak, but couldn't find my voice.

"Stop" my voice came to a whisper. I heard growls I saw Jason body begin thrown to the locker.

"Please stop," I said again as my vision got blurry I muster up higher voice this time. I had a sharp pain that made my hand grip the back of my head. It felt wet and warm in that area and that's when I smelled it, blood. I begin to black out but before I did I felt sparks all through my body.

Then darkness consumes me.

"I finally updated hopefully I'll update regularly."
