HIT AND KILL
PROLOGUE
I pulled on the strap to my equipment and fastened it all together securely. I was ready, and smirked as I watched our victim struggle with his pack. My partner offered help to him and secured everything. The man had the sabotaged pack; but even having troubles strapping yourself in was a typical amateur problem. I guess I had very little impatience with these type of things.
"Okay, it'll open automatically Sir, so no worries," Cain explained to the hit and he nodded.
"Are you sure you are ready for this, Sir?" I asked politely, looking at his paled face.
"Of course," he nodded, reassuringly. We all knew he was lying though, he had been too prideful to give in. Something we all knew as well.
"Okay, everyone ready?!" Rosa, our other partner, asked clapping her hands excitedly. She was pretending to be the instructor in this scenario, even though she wasn't jumping out of the plane.
"Yeah," we all nodded, reluctantly. Little did Mr. Traelee, the victim, know was that we were all professionals and have been skydiving for years now.
"Who wants to go first?"
"Not me! Can someone go before me?" I looked down, blushing in my fake manner.
"I'll go, Miss," the man winked at me and I resisted the urge to gag. He was at least twenty years older than me and he was a complete and utter creep. There was a reason why he was our victim, this man had raped a girl and her father was paying us major cash to take him out. There was no proof that he was the one but hey, we didn't ask questions.
He stood by the door and waited for the 'okay'. Rosa nodded and hit the button to release the door. Mr. Traelee took a few calming breaths and then jumped out of the plane.
I smirked, "Ready Cain?" I asked him.
"Yup," he grinned back and looked at Rosa. "See you at home, little sis'."
With that, we jumped through the door, and into the cool Alaskan air.
