Her eyes had touch of boredom and twinkled with mystery. Her eyelids were a nearly tight blankets as they slid over her deep brown irises. Her vibrant brown skin was shielded with kinky tight curls that cascaded down to the middle of her shoulders. Her thick thighs shifted and chaffed each other as she switched over her legs every minute or so.
I got lost at the simplicity of her actions. The lesson was tuned out, until I heard my name.
"Ethan! Please stop staring at Robin's hair, if you want something like that go grow out your own tresses." The teacher scolded.
Soft laughter from the corners of the room echoed around the classroom.
Red crept up my cheeks like a spider.
As soon as I got out of the classroom I was burdened with the sight of Robin's full lips molding with Tony's. A boy who didn't know anything about anything.
Hooray.
//////I had slipped out the bright yellow bus with Robin trailing behind me. My platinum blonde hair fell in my eyes as I took a quick glance behind me every so often. I heard the rubbing sound of Robin's jeans scraping off of each other.
I then felt a soft poke on my shoulder. I turned to see her pupils readjusting as my eyes greeted hers. Her pupils dilated as her low mellifluous voice blessed my ears. "How did your school day go?" She softly asked.
"Wonderfully. Yours?"
"Hygge."
"Wait, what?" I asked.
"When an annoyance is gone and you get to enjoy the time you have without it. It's Danish."
"Ohh. Interesting." I added in, actually being interested. "Yeah." She said with a touch of sadness that I just couldn't leave without asking about it. "Are you alright Rob?"
"Aren't I always?" She chuckled.
"Can I come over?" I asked, aching for a full meaningful conversation with her.
"Of course." She replied.
My heart did a little dance as Robin smiled, her pearly white teeth gleaming. As white as sea foam.
I followed her as we strolled through the neighborhood, we finally reached Robin's home and I couldn't help but let out a little grimace.
"I don't blame you Ethan, this place is a mess." She sighed. My eyes took in the scenery. Stray newspapers sitting on the patio, cigarettes, broken glass, and more. But I couldn't care less about it as I appreciated the beauty of Robin's curl pattern.
I followed her in and she quickly went upstairs. I followed.
We entered her room and I was pretty impressed at all the band posters. We sat on her bed. Her room changed since the last time I saw it.
She smiled. "Wanna play a video game?"
I nodded. She headed towards her mini television and started playing around with the cords.
I found myself looking around her room and soaking in her vivid posters.
"Ready?" She asked. She pulled out the Xbox controllers and handed me one, I nodded
I turned to look at the screen and saw her eyes reflect the light of the screen. Her eyes more luminous then before.
Fifa.
******
I was laughing so hard I had to pee. Robin screaming out "I'm going to wash out your hair dye and make sure it stains your face so it becomes paler and you'll get to know how you look as a ghost before I
kill you, kapeesh?" Multiple times. Most people wouldn't have found that funny but coming out of Robin's mouth, I found it hilarious."I understand." I wheezed.
She was incredibly frustrated since I kept beating her by one point in each game. Her hair began to frizz and sweat stained her cheeks.
"You're a tomato." She exclaimed as she stared at me.
"But am I a beautiful tomato?" I asked probably turning even redder from that question.
"You sure are." She whispered.
I laughed and so did she. I grabbed her from the edge of the bed by her wrists pulled her to me, not being able to bare separation from her any longer. And she fell on top of me as we had an awkward hug.
"Woah Ethan I have a boyfriend." She exclaims but she had no effort to move. I was about to apologize but she spoke agin. "Eh probably going break up with him anyway, he's a cheating little demon."
My eyes lit up. "Why are you so happy mister." She asked her voice muffled by lying face down on my chest. "I just never had good vibes from him." I explained quickly. I just couldn't think clearly.
Robin on me. On top of me.
Oh. My. God.
"Well I have to tell you something." I spoke. But I was met with nothing but silence. I looked down to see Robin blissfully sleeping. Her peace was mine. I to, fell asleep, her heartbeat was my lullaby.

"YOU LITTLE SLUT!" Someone yelled. I felt Robin's heart jump. And mine followed. I peeled my eyes opened. My eyes took in the sight of a woman that looked like Robin but how she would look in her 30's."Are you her little man whore?" The woman asked. Alcohol reeked throughout the room.
"Mama, please just go to bed, you're going to have a bad hangover." Robin hissed.
She looked over at me as she began to slip off the bed. "I'm sorry Ethan but I think you should go." She said as she ushered her mother out the room not looking at me in the eye.
I didn't want to leave her. So wordlessly I took the bottle of alcohol dangling out of her mother's hand and set it on Robin's nightstand and helped her carry her mother to her room. Once we finished Robin closed the door to her mother's extremely messy room.
She simply looked at me. Her eyes were hands searching my soul. I could feel her aura radiating a young glow. She fell into my arms and minty vanilla evaded my nose.
"Thank you so much Ethan." She mumbled. I was in shock at the sudden movement but then was filled with this light, this bright feeling escaped my mind and flowed throughout my whole body and before I knew it I was hugging Robin back, as if it was the last hug I would give. Her hair tickled my chin her, her heart beat vibrated against mine.
******As I walked home the happiest I've ever been, and the closest I've ever been with Robin, all I could think of is how she and I came from the same star, separated for eternities but finally reunited, and shining brighter than ever.
////
A scream.
