My mother shrieked. "ETHAN, MY CASSEROLE!"

"Mom I can expl-" she cut off my excuse with a loud sigh. She turned around and a nervous laugh broke through the kitchen.

"Hi there Ms.Ricotta." Robin said nervously.

The dinner table was littered with bags of chips as my mom answered Robin's questions about Harley. Her eyes were wide the whole time. And surprisingly my mom wasn't mad that Robin came, she was more mad about me dropping the casserole. "Wow he isn't really a good guy." She said.

"Yeah but he he's attending therapy sessions so he'll get better...eventually." My mother replied with an unreassuring tone.

Rob looked out of touch. "Well thank you for your time, I better start heading home." My mother nodded. "I understand, let Ethan walk with you." Robin looked over to me. "Okay."

"Bye Ms.Ricotta and thank you for telling me about Harley." She saluted.

My mother nodded.

I lead Robin out the front door.

While we strolled down the street towards her house the sounds of the night echoed through the dreary neighborhood and our footsteps accompanied it.

"I like your mom Ethan, she's way better than mine." Robin sighed. "Thanks." I replied, my tone of voice held a bit of flatter in it.

We got to her house, we said our goodbyes. "See you tomorrow or later in the day I guess." She laughed. I gave her a rare big smile of mine. But my thoughts were singing the same lyrics over and over again.

Tomorrow never comes.

I felt chills shake my spine as the empty hole that Robin's presence filled was sucking away all my comfort. The dark night wasn't pleasant with out her.

I heard the snap of a twig and I swung my head around to find a brooding Tony. "I don't have time to do this bullshit today Tony." I quickly said with a shaky tone.

"I just need a word with you." He growled. I picked up a near by stick that had jagged edges. "Okay speak from there." I said cautiously. Tony rolled rolled his eyes but obliged.

"Leena is not who she say's she is, I promise you that." He whispered as if someone would hear him, as if someone else was creeping through the night. "Okay and I'm Spider-Man." I replied.

"This isn't a joke Ethan, Leena isn't even her real name." He loudly whispered. "Then what is it?" I asked with a humorous edge.

"It's Lilith." A low raspy voice replied that didn't belong to Tony or me.

A thin figure was emerging from the shadows of the dark night.
