Yeri's POV
The day to leave is here, we are going to New York. I make sure I'm packed for the weather and all my gear is with me. I haven't seen or heard from Jay all week except for the little messages he sends me to tell me what I have to bring. He even told me that I can go over the limit because he is paying. But I am not making him pay for a dime more than he already has. All my expenses have been taken care off and I feel so bad for it. He's treating me and paying me at the same time, it feels bad.
The cab comes to my house and I take it to the airport. He sends me another message telling me he'll be waiting at the gate. A sigh escapes my lips because I won't have to deal with him for another half hour at least. He makes me feel weird inside, like my insides are in a knot.
My cab stops and hands me my luggage. I pay the guy, but he tells me it's all been taken care of. I sigh again and am off inside the big building that is Incheon airport. I've been here a few times before, to photograph some of the celebrities that arrive here. It's a popular destination for them. A crowd forms in front of the door and I try to pass through. They're actually holding up signs for Jay. I smile a little as I duck my head and go inside. A hand grabs me again and I turn around, knowing whose warmth it is that overflows me.
"Jay, you're supposed to wait at the gate..." I tell him as I roll my eyes at his ridiculously big smile.
"Nah, couldn't wait to see you. Come, I'll get you through special check-up. It's way quicker", he takes my luggage for me. The fans outside see us and their eyes almost bulge out of their heads.
"Dude, your fans can see us", I say in a quiet voice.
"Let them, nothing wrong with me being a gentleman, is there?" he turns around and smiles again. One day his smile will be the best of me. I frown at him in response, making him laugh.
It's one of those laughs that go through your whole body because it's one he really means. Not one out of politeness. My lips curl up a little at the ends, but his head is already facing in front of him again. I tag along to the check-in desk. It really is a lot quicker. We're through it in mere minutes instead of half an hour at the main one. I'm not even a star, I shouldn't be here.
"It's okay, she's with us", Jay assures them. I duck my head and bow to the people behind the desk. Did he really just say 'us'? Who the hell is he talking about?
We're finally done and join another group of people. There are so many of them, apparently they're all staff and people from AOMG. My smile widens as they seem very nice to me. Jay drifts away and I'm left with some music video director I don't know. He's very nice and tells me they're shooting a new music video in New York. The concept is unknown, but he's sure Jay will think of something.
"Did you do the Mommae video too?" I ask him as he nods.
"Jay usually uses me. Did you like it?" he chuckles.
"Yeah, once I got past the half naked girls, but it's kinda the concept huh? The colors were nice! And it really did fit the song", I smile at him.
We talk for a little while longer before Jay comes to get us. Apparently the plane is ready. When we get closer my eyes widen, it's a private jet. Where the hell did he get the money to buy such a thing? For all of us! My head is swirling from the sight of it, Jay sees and comes over.
"Did you think we were taking a line flight?" he asks me as he takes me in.
"Yeah.. Never knew you had something like this..." I whisper.
"Welcome to the world of AOMG", he chuckles.
"You do love saying welcome, don't you." A grin creeps over my face.
