Yeri's POV
Jay's mother made breakfast for the guys from AOMG. It doesn't surprise me that there is absolutely nothing left on the table by the time we exit our room. Loco and Simon keep on eyeing us as we sit down at the table. Jehan is talking with Gray and it seems like a lively conversation. Jehan is into music too, Jay told me so last night when we were falling asleep. Of course he would be talking with Gray like that.
"You guys are up late", Loco comments and I try not to blush too hard. Jay shoots him an angry look that makes me chuckle.
"We had some things to take care of", is Jay's simple reply. I almost choke on my water. Did he really just say that in front of his mother? I guess he is a rebel.
"I'll make some more pancakes", his mother comments and is out of the room fast. Okay, now I'm embarrassed and it's all Jay's fault. She is still his mother.
"I take it you guys slept soundly", Jehan says with a wink and that earns him a fist in the stomach from Jay.
"Don't say things you know nothing off", Jay says casually while taking an apple off the table.
Jehan chuckles while trying to hide the pain that Jay inflicted on him. He's obviously hurting, but his pride is more important. The men in this family... They need serious help. Someone moves in the corner of my eye and I see it is Hoody. She came too? I like her, but she's not exactly my favourite person in this room.
"Good morning, Jay", she says while passing me by. "And to you too, Yeri."
Of course she has to pretend like I'm not here at first. She's always subtle like this whenever I'm around. Jay doesn't seem to notice it, but Loco sure does. He's smarter than you think. He tilts his head to the side while he shoots me a questioning look. I shrug it off and he shakes his head in the process.
"Hey, Hoody. Excited for the show tomorrow?" Jay sits down and asks her. She sits down beside him, my spot if I may add. Jay is still oblivious and I'm kind of mad at him right now. He's always telling me to watch out for guys and here he is, totally blind to a girl flirting with him. Asshole. I make my move instead and sit down on his lap, that's my real spot. Jay puts his arms around my waist and holds me close.
"Yeah, of course", Hoody says with a little less confidence than before. Strike one.
"It's your first one with us, but don't be scared. It'll all be okay", Jay reassures her while pulling my hand up and places a kiss on the back of it. He's being so sweet again. I know it's unconscious, but that makes it even sweeter. Somehow he always keeps his hands on me at all times. Is it attraction? Is it love? Who knows.
Hoody just nods and goes back to her original seat while Jay's mother is back with pancakes. They smell delicious as she puts them down in front of me. I slide off his lap and into the chair next to him that Hoody was occupying until just now. His mother gives us syrup and sugar to coat our pancakes while the rest of AOMG leave us to eat. Loco's excuse is that he ate too much before and can't stand the smell of food now. The rest just follows him to give us some privacy.
"My mother's pancakes are the best", Jay says while he puts a piece inside his mouth and hums. I do the same thing and it really is the best thing I've ever tasted. He's right. I even close my eyes to savor the taste a little more. When I open them I see Jay mere inches away from me, he pecks my lips and then feeds me another piece of pancake. When did he become this cute? When did we become this cute?
"Hey love birds! We have business to do today!" Simon yells from the other room while we both laugh.
Today they have their concert in Seattle. Their home town, where AOMG was originally born. Jay has been very excited about this for the past week. The guys, and girl, have been talking about it nonstop. And it is the first time I'll be seeing Jay perform every since the first night we met. It's exciting and new. An AOMG concert is one of the best out their and I've never even been to one. These days all I do is worry about my next appointment, which is in a few days. This will definitely take my mind off things, Jay knows that.
