Yeri's POV
Finally the day is done and I can go home. My body is exhausted from having to do absolutely everything myself. My assistant has no idea what she has to do yet, so I'm still doing it myself while teaching her. I drop down on my bed after coming home, sleeping for a while. God knows I need it. My alarm is already set for 9. That's when I have to leave for the club and my other job starts. And tonight some of my friends are coming to party, so I have to join them when my shift is done.
I wake up way before my alarm has to go off and I take out my computer. Time for me to make a remix. There were some songs on the radio today that I really liked and need to insert in here. One of them is ZICO's Eurika. My body starts moving every time I hear the tune. I also download Jay's album. Something about his voice makes me want to listen to all the tracks and for some reason "Bo$$" and "Up in this Bitch" speak to me. There's something in the music that makes me want to use it in my remix. So I do. It's going to go down tonight.
After a while I take something out of the fridge to eat, I have to get ready for my shift. Most of my clothes consist of all black and tonight is no different. It's always been my thing. My black skinny jeans has rips in it and my top sticks to my body. I swing my leather jacket on top of that and I'm out of the door. It doesn't take me long to walk there with my headphones on. My remix is playing and I feel like walking to it, so I go a little faster. My feet feel like flying as I'm walking. The bouncer sees me and leads me around to the back. I thank him with a little smile and step inside.
The club is crowded, even for a weekday. There seems to be some kind of party going on in there, but I don't even bother to look. I take my remix and go prepare backstage. The DJ has to be finishing up soon because it's nearing 11pm. My heart starts to beat a little faster as I get a text from my friends, telling me they're here. I go out into the crowd, pulling on my snapback, backwards. Soon I spot my friends, they're so different from me. All they wear is dresses and heels, I don't even bother with the heels. I'd break my legs on them.
Soojin hugs me the second I get to them. Her make-up game is strong and a dozen of guys are already looking at us. I roll my eyes at them as I take her in.
"You look stunning!" I tell her as she does a pirouette for me.
"Of course I do! You starting soon?" She asks me and I nod.
"Now, I'll see you in two hours?" I ask her as I start walking back again.
"I'll be the shining star on the dance floor!" She yells after me.
I climb up the stairs to the DJ stand. The guy who always plays before me smiles as he moves over. We never talk, but we don't have to. His smile is enough for me as he hands over the panel to me. Finally home, my body thinks. I plug in my remix and other music and start spinning. The club immediately knows I'm spinning. The regulars love me. I see hands going up as they yell for me. I smile and wave back at them. This is where I feel most alive.
After two intense hours of spinning I go down and put away my stuff in the back. I'm all sweat so I go to clean myself up in the bathroom. It's done pretty soon and I head out for the floor. The bartender gives me Soju and I join my girls. Soojin wasn't lying when she said she would be the one shining star on the dance floor. Guys were fawning over her as she was rubbing against someone. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the first time they'd met. She didn't have any problems with stuff like that.
The other girls welcome me as I drink up my soju. One is never enough for me. That's my biggest problem. It gives me such a high that I need to stay on it. I go back to the bar for another one as I bump into someone again. As I look up I almost gag. Really?
