Yeri's POV
My mouth is left hanging open as I see Jay walking away, probably smiling smugly. I want to punch and kiss him at the same time, I that weird? My eyes finally turn to the crowd that had formed around me and I blush deeply before entering the building. Everyone saw us, reporters, coworkers. This is going to be another hard ass day if you ask me. But Jay's kiss is enough to get me through the day, I hope.
Suddenly my phone stars buzzing in my pocket. If it's Jay already I'm seriously going to kill him. He needs to give me some kind of space too. But when I take out my phone I see it's my best friend: Soojin. Oh she's going to be pissed about knowing all of the details surrounding this.
"You backstabbing bitch!" Is the first thing I hear when taking the call.
"Good morning to you too, Soojin", I remark sarcastically.
"You're dating Jay freaking Park! And I'm the only one you haven't told!" She accuses me and a little smile plays on my mouth.
"Come have lunch with me this afternoon. I'll tell you all about it. Even the juicy details", I tell her and a sigh escapes her lips.
"You better. See you at 12." That's when she cuts off our connection.
Soojin is a special kind of girl you need to appreciate in a special kind of way. We've been friends since kindergarten and stuck together at all times. Lately we've been so busy with out own lives that we've been passing each other by. I kind of regret not telling her about Jay when it all first happened, but it is what it is.
The day drags on, luckily Hani is still here to cater to all my wants and needs. She's been catching on pretty well and is turning out to be a very good assistant after all. She's been learning all of my habits.
On top of that she's been really hitting it off with Dean. They've been constantly texting each other and by the looks of it it seems to be going somewhere good. Every time he texts her she gets a wide smile on her face that can't be wiped away at all.
"Have you gone on a date yet?" I blurt out without thinking.
Her face turns red at the mentioning of the word date. "Nope. But it think it'll be coming around soon. I hope. Do you think he would toy with me?" She suddenly turns very insecure about it all. It makes me smile because that right there shows how much she actually cares about him.
"I don't think Dean is the kind of guy who would do such a thing", I reassure her and her smiles comes back. How cute is she?
Hani decides to go out for lunch too this time, since we're not eating together like we always do. She leaves me to do some minor things before my lunch date arrives. I still have a couple of minutes left and Soojin promised to meet me here.
Suddenly a knock comes at my door. I scream for Soojin to come right in and don't even bother looking up.
"It's not like you to be on time," I joke a little and then I look up. It's not my best friend who is standing in front of me.
"Baby, for you I can be anything", he winked as he walked over to my side of the desk and plant a little kiss on my lips.
"What are you doing here?!" I half scream and half whisper, which wasn't an easy task.
"I wanted to see my beautiful girlfriend. Is that a crime?" He asks as he pulls me up from my seat and takes me into his arms.
"I have a lunch date with Soojin at any second now..." I say, whimpering because there isn't nearly enough time for us to be together right now.
