Chapter 48

"P! Come on, Klaus is waiting for you out on the dance floor!" Caroline says as she snaps me out of my trance. I look up and see her wearing a beautiful long black gown. I then look down at myself and see myself wearing a beautiful white wedding gown.

"Umm, yeah. Right" I say as I get up, Caroline grabs my hand and pulls me into this beautiful ballroom, with chandeliers and large beautiful windows. The ballroom is filled with unfamiliar, and familiar faces. I look wildly at everyone, but at the center of the ballroom I see Klaus, standing there, looking the extremely handsome. My heart flutters and Caroline gives me a shove and everyone looks at me. I turn my head to see the people to my left and right. I swallow hard and take a few nervous steps towards Klaus, who just continues to look at me, with complete and utter amazement and admiration. He extends his large hand to me and I delicately place my small hand into his. Klaus puts his hand on my waist and I put mine on his shoulder.

"Penelope... Words could not describe how beautiful you look in the exact moment. You never cease to amaze me with your effortless beauty" Klaus says as music turns on and the lights dim slightly. My lips part and I take a small breath.

"Thank you.." I breathe out as I'm just mesmerized by him. I look at my hand on his shoulder and see a huge engagement paired with a small gold wedding band. Oh my God.

"This is the happiest day of my life. I never thought that I'd be happy until I found you. You are my happiness, you are my world" Klaus says as he intertwines his fingers with mine.

"Is this even real?" I ask him, air escaping my mouth. Suddenly I see a little girl, about two or three years old run towards Klaus. I look down at the small girl with lighter brown ringlets and dark blue eyes, wearing a little poofy white dress. 

"Daddy! Daddy!" The girl says tugging at Klaus's jacket. Klaus looks down at her and then scoops her up in his arms, placing her on his hip as her one hand goes to his back and her other hand goes to his chest.

"Hi sweetheart" Klaus says to the girl with love burning in his eyes. Klaus then looks at me, a smile coming across his face. "Doesn't your mother look beautiful?" Klaus asks the girl curiously. Suddenly tears come to my eyes. This little girl is my daughter. My little baby. I put my hands on her cheeks as the tears come quicker.

"Hi baby" I say as I just keep my hands on her cheeks.

"Why you cry, Mommy?" The little girl asks me curiously.

"Because I love you..." I breathe out as I hug her and Klaus. "And I love your Daddy too" I say as I look into Klaus's eyes. Our lips meet each other, and when we pull away our foreheads rest against each other. "I love you so much" I breathe out, my eyes closed as more tears fall from my eyes.

"I love you too.." A different voice says to me. I shoot my head up and open my eyes, I see Elijah standing in front of me. I lose all the air in my chest. No.

I wake up in a cold sweat, shooting up out of bed. I try and catch my breath as I wipe some sweat off of my forehead. I look down and see my protruded baby bump. I run my hand over it just for reassurance. I take a deep breath and get out of bed, planting my feet on the hard wood floor. I go into Klaus's bathroom and undress. I hop in the shower and stand under the water, just collecting myself. That dream really shook me up, and I usually don't get that affected by my dreams. I get out of the shower and dry off, putting on a loose tank top and a pair of leggings. I pull my hair back into a pony tail and leave Klaus's room. Down the hall I hear the old grand piano playing music. Beautiful music. I figured that Klaus compelled someone to come and play piano here, he does that sometimes. I travel to the room where I hear the music and peer into the room. But I'm taken by surprise when I see Klaus sitting behind the piano, playing away. Klaus looks up and stops playing the piano.
