Chapter 47

I stand in Klaus's body mirror struggling to clip my bra. I give it all I've got but it just doesn't want to clip, it's fantastic. My bra hangs from my shoulders as I let out a defeated sigh as I stand there in my pregnant underwear and my used to fit bra doesn't seem to want to fit anymore.

"Need some help?" Klaus asks popping up in the doorway.

"That would be wonderful, thank you. Our little girl doesn't seem to want to just stretch out my belly, but my boobs as well, fantastic" I say as I move my hair to the side so Klaus can clip my bra.

"Your whole body changes when your pregnant, Penelope. It's just simply nature taking it's course" Klaus says as he adjust the straps of my bra so they don't pinch me once he clips them.

"I've went up two bra sizes ever since I got pregnant, and in not even in the third trimester. My protrudes more and more everyday and my ass is humongous! It was big before I got pregnant but now it's like 'BAM'" I say raising my voice at the 'bam' part.

"You still look marvelous my dear. I wouldn't change a thing about you" Klaus says as he clips my bra. "But it looks like you are going to have to go bra shopping" Klaus teases me as he plants a kiss on my hair. I laugh a little and I put my hand on my stomach.

"Thank you Klaus. But I just, I feel like I'm bigger than most women that are just as pregnant as me" I say as I run my hand over my baby bump.

"Well, maybe we just have a large baby. You have been eating quite a lot of cupcakes and ice cream lately though" Klaus says as a smirk grows on his face.

"I eat when I'm bored!" I defend with a smile on my face.

"You look splendid my love, I promise" Klaus says as places a soft kiss on my shoulder. A smile comes across my face and I turn around and out my hands on his shoulders.

"So, Caroline and Elena are coming up for a girls weekend in a few weeks" I tell Klaus as I rock back and forth on the balls of my feet.

"Alright, I suppose that's fine with me.." Klaus says wearily.

"And, in the beginning of September, I have an appointment with Jeremy's counselor 2 weeks after school starts, just to make sure everything is okay for him" I say to Klaus, knowing he will disapprove.

"You realize by September, you will be very pregnant love, and you want to take a long car ride back to Mystic Falls for a parent teacher conference?" Klaus asks me suspicious.

"Well, Bonnie brought him back from the dead and I think that is pretty amazing and it's worth it if I get to spend time with my little brother and talk with his teachers to make sure he has the best senior year of his life" I say as I put my hands on Klaus's neck.

"Fine you may go, as long as I get to tag along as well" Klaus says as a smile traces his lips.

"Of course" I say as I peck his lips and smile up at him. It's nice when I get these moments with Klaus, because lately, I don't get many.

I am in Davina's old bedroom, looking at the sketches of Celeste she left behind.

"There you are..." A familiar voice says to me. I turn and see Elijah looking at me.

"Here I am.." I say as I just keep looking at the sketches.

"Davina's drawings" Elijah says gesturing towards the sketches.

"Yeah I know. It's kind of sad. But I was thinking, we never found out why Davina drew these of Celeste. But what else do I have to do other than think? I'm on vampire lockdown while Klaus is out.." I say pursing my lips.
