Chapter 22 - Rythians Secret

Ross's POV
I held Tess tight as she cried. "They're gone Ross, all my family left are gone" she sobbed. "Hey hey shhh I'm still here look, we'll get them back" I said trying to calm her down. "Rythian, what should we do?" Trott asked, his eyes red from crying. "We need to track them, which we can with a little DNA from them. You guys got any?" He replied. "Well Smiths stuff is still upstairs and so is Storms, they'll be stuff there won't there?" I said. He nodded and went to get it and returned with a map on which he made two markers appear on it. A Green one and an Amber one, signifying Storm and Smith. "Now we know where they are, but it's most likely, Storm is now Amber and Smith will be heavily guarded. We need a plan of action." Zoey said. "Well we need to get me to Storm, I saved her last time, I can do it again surely" Trott said.

We all got sorted and us humans were given various splash potions to help us and protect us. That's when Rythian teleported us to the exact co-ordinates of Smith. We landed just outside a clearing where we saw him tied up on a large wooden pole like an offering. "This reminds me of the scene in King Kong, where they try sacrifice that woman" I said. "Ross babe don't say that please" Tess said, smiling slightly. I knew she was laughing on the inside, but I knew she just wanted to save him. "I don't see any patrol..." Rythian said. "Stop!" Zoey said grabbing rythian's cloak stopping him. Zoey put a finger to her lips and pointed to the Hydra which had appeared beside Smiths cage. "Leave me alone!" Smith shouted firing his magic at the hydra. They'd made the cage so that magic couldn't break it by the looks of things. "Smith knows we're here guys, I told him via telepathy" Tess said. We nodded and I kept close to Tess and we ventured forwards towards Smith.

We drank invisibility potions and began trying to unlock the cage. While we did this Rythian and Tess controlled the hydra, slicing off its heads until it could regrow no more. He died silently, but just before we could release Smith another patrol appeared. And a scaled woman figure lead it. Rythian saw the character and fled, Zoey followed suit while me Trott and Tess frantically clawed and the lock on smiths cage. "Wait, he was here" the woman said her eyes glowing purple. "Rythian my dear, you can't hide forever" she said before coming over to smiths cage. "What do you want bitch" he snarled as he tried to buy us more time."I'm just checking you're still here. And now I'm taking you with me to be killed and eaten by the enderdragon. How's that sound?" He glared at the woman. "So you're gonna eat me?" He said. "No why would I do that?" She replied. "Because I'm magic and I know your an enderdragon. Im not as weak as you think I am. I may not be as powerful as Storm, but I have more knowledge" smith stalled. Tess told me and Trott to take cover again before our potions ran out and she carried on picking the lock until she heard a click.

Tess joined us again and I gripped her hand tight. "Now what?" I asked Tess. "He knows it's open, so he'll have to escape himself." She explained. We stayed hidden and watched. "Maybe you are, prove it" the woman said her voice sharp and mocking. "Fine I'll break out of here" he said, smiling. "That's impossible even for you, only a human hand could unlock it and even then, the lock is highly difficult to pick" she replied confidently. I smiled, what they seemed to forget is that one me and Trott were human, and that two Tess is still full human, but she is just 'cursed' with magic powers. Trott and I looked at Smith with hopeful eyes while Tess prepped herself for defensive manoeuvres. We watched as smith kicked the door to the cage and it flung open. He walked out and readied his magic. "Why you little rat. I'm going to kill you now, I'll eat you and enjoy it" she said furiously.

Tess POV
I watched as my brother began to fight with the enderdragon woman. I looked to him by himself and felt an urge to be there and fight by his side. I turned to Ross who had fear in his eyes. "Ross babe, I love you wolfie. But I gotta help him" I said before turning to go help Smith. "Tess! Don't I can't lose you!" He said. "You won't. I promise" I reassured him. Him frowned but he couldn't stop me from going anyway. I got rid of the effects of my invisibility potion and joined my brothers side. We fought strongly together. His tiger spirit appeared along with my wolf and they fought either side as well just as family would. "You won't take us, you won't destroy our family. We'll save storm just you wait and see!" I shouted at the woman. She laughed and stop abrupt halfway through when she smiled. She smiled and Rythian appeared in front of us "Mother leave me alone! I'm not joining you!" Rythian screamed clamping his hands over his ears as his mother whispered something in their language which made him scream out in anger and pain. "RYTHIAN!!!!" We heard Zoey cry out as he screamed and disappeared as his eyes turned a deep purple colour. As he teleported Zoey fell to the floor crying. "Right now it's pay back!" Smith shouted as we fired at her again.

Trott and Ross ran to Zoey's aid as we covered for them. "Till next time losers" she said smirking with success. I feared what had happened to Rythian. Because there was always one consequence and one weakness of great power. Once she'd disappeared we ran back to Zoey and went to cover. "What was all that about?" I asked Zoey. "She activated his split personality. That's his only secret. He turns into an enderman, and like Storm turns evil." Zoey said. Everything just got a whole lot worse.

Amber POV
I awoke in the forest, my power flowing easily. I looked around and saw another figure in the same position as me. "Who are you?" I asked armed just in case. "I'm the Enderborn Prince, who are you?" He asked defensively. "I'm Amber, I work for Jet, do I need to say your majesty?" I replied. "Well nice to meet you Amber, and no my mum is helping Jet so I guess that makes us allies." He said. I nodded and I put my hand out for him to shake, instead he held it and kissed it. "Shall we get going. There's evil to be done" I said playfully. He smiled and took my hand. "I think we shall, my evil Queen" he said as we began our search through the forest for the wimps with the good magic.

Um that happened, yeah um enjoy I guess. Amber and Enderborn are the split personalities if you didn't get the memo. Also Evil Queen is a reference to my fav Tv show. Also yeah the supposed saviours are now the dark ones (another tv show reference ;3) Anyways hope you enjoyed this and don't forget to vote.
