Chapter 32 - Bored Of Hiding

2 weeks later

Tess's POV
It was the week of i57 and I couldn't wait to share the good news with the rest of the world. Although I was also looking forward to the pub quiz seeing as it's always funny to watch everyone get drunk while my magic prevents me from being intoxicated. The best bit is you get to remember everything while everyone else forgets. We were in a car, hatfilms, Storm and I and we'd decided to drive to i57 together instead of riding with the rest of the Yogs because according to Smith, 'it would be more fun', however somehow I doubt that.

Trott was sat in the passenger seat while Ross drove, leaving us three siblings in the back. We'd been arguing for the past few moments with Storm, who thought it would be a good idea just to teleport us all there in the car. Her eagerness to test her powers limits was beginning to sound more and more reckless by the minute, but secretly I wanted to know how powerful she actually was too, it was all to fasinating to ignore. "Can I just try, please!" Storm begged for the tenth time. Smith pointed his finger to Storm and her mouth clamped shut. "That's better, it's peaceful now" he said as he stretched a little. Storm undid Smiths spell and had an annoyed look on her face, another argument was about to start. Just as they were about to begin I used my own magic to temporarily silence them.

Ross laughed as he watched me do it, and as Trott realised there was silence he turned to look at my siblings and laughed. "Those two are so alike it's uncanny" Trott joked. I laughed, "just be grateful they aren't your siblings" I joked. He smiled just as Storm realised that she was silenced. "Tess why did you silence me! Your on my team remember" she moaned. I groaned and face palmed. "Because next time we aren't going in the same car, now just shut up. Both of you" I said finishing my words as I faced Smith. And just like that they stayed silent for the rest of the journey.

It occurred to me that since we'd been in the magical realm we had used our powers a lot more than we used to, either we did it because we were stronger or maybe we were just confident. After all we did use it to take down Jet's evil army. When we finally got there and regrouped with the Yogs, I was finally glad to escape my siblings and into a more friendly atmosphere. "Hey Kim, Hannah" I said greeting them as they met us behind our area. "Hey Tess, how was the journey?" Kim asked. "Bad, let's just say there was a silencing spell involved" I said. Hannah laughed, "I'm guessing the lads aren't quiet" she joked. "Actually it was Storm and Smith arguing. Storm wants to test her powers and wanted to teleport the car straight here with us in it" I explained. They were a little shocked by the fact that all of Hatfilms weren't guilty for being noisy, but then reconsidered it when they remembered smith was the loudest and Storm and smith were pretty much the same as each other.

"Well we've got signing to do, so let's get to it!" Kim said. I grabbed a bottle of water and a sharpie, but before I went to sit down I went over to the back board and with help from Ross put, 'Ross and Tess are engaged' in big bold letters. We did originally plan to fake a proposal, but we'd decided that we wouldn't have time so it was easier this way. That way all fans would see it. The other Yogs laughed at this and Turps was determined to take a picture for Twitter. Not to mention it got a place in all the vlogs being made. As the fans passed they congratulated me and commented on my ring which sparkled in the faint light there was. By the end of the first signing session my hand was ready for a break and so me, Storm and Hatfilms went for a wander.

We went for a walk towards the other areas, Ross and I held hands as we walked his strong hands keeping a firm grip on my own small ones. "Well today's been good" he said casually, breaking the silence. "So far" I said. "Well done, Ross jinxed us" Trott moaned. Storm laughed, "there's no such thing, it's all just weird coincidences" she said. We were walking through the middle of the crowd when a small cry of names came from behind us. "Can we have a picture please?" A pair of fans said coming to us. We smiled politely and told them yes, Storm offered to do a magic trick with her sharpie and the fans not wanting to say no to one of their idols watch with great concentration. "I'll make my black sharpie, Amber coloured, watch." Storm said holding the pen out infront of her. She shook the pen once and it's colour changed, the fans were amazed and thanked us before going on their way.

"You're such a show off" Smith joked to our sister. "I'm not trying to, but it's hard to keep so much power cooped up inside me, sometimes I've got to use some before it overwhelms me" Storm replied. It was a reasonable explaination in the end and we had no experience of her amount of power so we didn't have a right to argue. We made our way to the main stage area and took a seat. We weren't much interested in what was happening it was just good to get away from signing, the place was packed with energy until we heard the one fatal noise which we all feared. There was an explosion behind the main stage, we hoped it was a small problem, but then we heard gunshots, many gunshots. Storm instantly rose to her feet. "Storm! Not in public!" I said grabbing her jacket sleeve. She shook me off and looked back at me, "I'm not letting them die! We can stop the terrorist or whoever they are!" She cried and with that she stood up and her eyes began glowing. Not allowing her to face this alone we all ran after her, me and Smith also with glowing eyes. What had we got ourselves into.
