Cyn still had intentions of talking to Travis. Trying to fight the urge was useless, she watched Taison as her thoughts raged. She knew that he'll find out but Travis was the only person who knew the truth about Taison. Almost.

"Can I call my friend?" The woman asked shyly

Taison glared at her before softening his face. He gave a nod before sliding her phone across the coffee table. She looked at it then him.

"Go ahead Cyn. Don't be scared anymore." He encouraged

She grabbed it and walked into the room shutting the door. She rummaged through her backpack finding the paper that Travis had scribbled his number onto earlier.

9473584408....
Her fingers hovered over the big green button plastered on her screen. She had no idea if Taison was listening or not so she crawled to the door looking under it. Taison was no where near the door. He'd never left his spot on the couch.

She high fived herself mentally and crawled into bed. She clicked the fat green button and bit her nails hoping this would work out.

Hello?

Travis? It's umm Cyn

Hey Cyn. Kinda thought you would never call.

No I'm was just uh busy.

You okay? You seem nervous.

Can I trust you Travis?

Yea. Sure. I mean....yea.

You sure?

Yea.

My boyfriend doesn't want me talking to you but your pretty much my only friend. So when we're in public I can't look your way when we talk. Never call or text me if your not sure it's me and even when we text I'll send a voice message letting you know it's me.

You serious? (He laughed)

Unfortunately.

Okay I got you C.

Thanks Trav. And another thing when we're on the phone I'll call you Ana.

Hell no. I'm more of a Jayden.

(She laughed) okay Jayden.

Bye C. I know you have class tomorrow.

Bye Jay.

She saved Travis' number under Jayden before dancing around the room like an idiot.

"Baby." Taison called through the door

"Yea?"

"It's ten at night you have class tomorrow go to sleep." He opened the door to look at her

She handed her phone to him which he gave back.

"Keep it." He said before closing the door once more

She clutched the phone in her hand tightly before resuming in her dance before climbing into bed. As much as tried she couldn't sleep. She had the tiniest taste of freedom and it felt great. Her excitement kept her up for hours.

The next morning she drug her restless body from bed slinging clothes onto her bed. She stood under the shower head for what seemed like hours until she had the strength to pull herself together.

Once outside she looked around for "Jayden" he appeared with a smile but didn't come close to her. Only close enough to hear her.

"Hey Jayden." She laughed

"Hey C. I have a solution to our problem."

She waved her hand for him to continue.

"Let me take you out. Off campus so your man won't get offended."

"Umm Trav. I think that's a bad idea." She said thinking about what happen the last time she left

"Fine."

The two continued their distant conversation as Cyn reached her first class. She said goodbye to Travis and entered the class with a sigh.

She was very distracted today, she couldn't help but think about what Travis said. The whole leaving the campus thing was weighing heavily on her mind. She wanted to go out with Travis but scared for her own being. Her safety was in danger despite what Taison said.

She didn't believe him one bit but the more freedom he granted her the more believable it was. She moved from class to class in a brain dead state.

She knew she didn't like Travis but she was madly attracted to his aura. His vibe was light and inviting she liked that. It was a big change from Taison's dark and almost scary demeanor. She had more contact with his fist then lips. She cringed at the thought and relightened  her mood by thinking about Travis once more.

She scolded herself for being confused on wether she liked Travis or not. She debated with herself weighing out the pros and cons.

Pros
He was beyond nice
Energy was beautiful
Wouldn't hurt a fly (from what she knew)
Had a job
Had a car
Attractive

Cons
Didn't know him

The only con she could come up with was that she didn't know him but that could be easily fixed. She knew they couldn't get to know eachother much by only talking over the phone or talking 10 feet away from eachother so maybe this off campus "date" wasn't a bad idea.
