"Can you...just please?"
"Please what, beautiful?"
"Don't neglect me when you have me and act like nothing fucking happened." She growled lowly to herself
"I said sorry Cyn. There's nothing I can do now but show you. Can't do that if your continuously forcing me away."
"No, Travis you can't. Just focus on her."
"What about us? You don't want that?"
Just before the woman spoke the waitress arrived at the table with food that Tarren must have ordered. The man still watched the woman awaiting a response.
"Cyn...you don't love me anymore?"
The woman stopped smiling immediately and turned to him.
"What are you talking about Jacques?"
"I just don't know how you can go months without speaking to person you love and are pregnant by."
"Just how you can shut me out because you regret helping me then bring your ex around as soon as I'm gone. You left me mentally before I left you physically. I'm not even hungry anymore. Tarren can we leave?"
The woman pushed her chair out from the table abruptly and stood up making her way toward the door. The man sat in semi-shock at her reaction before standing up and trying to go after her.
"Let her be for a second." Tarren stopped him
"I didn't even mean for it to go that way."
"She knows that. She's just emotional...and heartbroken."
"Heartbroken? I'm trying to fix that."
"Your going to have to chase her. You left her go 3 months without giving a sign that you still care. Although she left to a whole other state you knew exactly where she was the whole time, and she knows that too."
"Tarren, please." Cyn walked back over to the table pleading to leave
"Alright then, bye Trav."
"Bye T."
The man didn't say goodbye to the woman purposely. He had other things planned.
Meanwhile...
"I'm hungry Tarren."
"I know Cyn. That's where we're going now. What you want?"
"Burger and fries?"
"Burger and fruit?"
"Fruit?"
"Yes. Doctor said lean toward healthy food."
"Fuck the doctor." She mumbled before crossing her arms
"You such a fucking baby. Can't believe you just turn 20 and act like this." The man laughed
"Can't believe Travis forgot my birthday."
"It's okay baby girl. He doesn't mean to be like that."
"Can't believe I loved him."
"Loved?"
"Yes. Loved."
"Don't lie Cyn."
"Love... I can't believe I love him."
