We have worked so hard. We have worked for so much. That's just how it is. Everyday is hard work. We have to do the best. We have to do best we can. We save lives and we do our damn best. It's a hard and dangerous job. We do it though.
Today is a day that is relaxed. There is no job. It's just us all relaxed. We both needed this. Matt looked at me " ready.." She smiled " ya!" We walked down to the hotel lobby, and there we went to the spa. It was so relaxing and beautiful. Just walking in you could feel the calmness. There was no noise. We were ready to relax. Matt smiled " We have an appointment for couples massage.." The girl smiled " ok... i'll bring you to the room!" We walked to the room, and walked inside. It was so silent, you could see the view outside, and it looked out to the lake. She smiled " we have these robes for you.. your message therapist will be in shortly.." I smiled " this is nice.." Matt nodded " Yeah.. it really is!" The message therapists came in " Hi" We both smiled " hi..." We laid down and massage began. It was so quiet. My massage therapist started to talk " so..honeymoon!" I laughed slightly " no.... just a get-away for my girl.." She smiled " Nice.." I just laid there avoiding conversation. She laughed " so.. where you two from..?" I laughed a little " Chicago..." She added " oh the windy city..." I breathed in and out " yeah..." Gabby was silent. I knew this was good. She was relaxed. That's all I wanted for her.
An hour was up and the massage was over. We walked and everything was good. I looked at her " good..?" She kissed me " Thank you!!!" I laughed " good!" She laughed " Yeah.. I feel good!"
