Today is our last day her. It's nice being here. It has been a nice 4 days. It was nice to get away when we could. We needed this. It has been tough these past few years. Recently hasn't been much better either. All these changes, changed us. We are different. It's good, but also hard. We've been through so much. We've also been through a lot of change in 8 years. some might say it's been longer, but it's been 8 years. It's crazy to think we've been together that long. Today we are going to enjoy the pool. It's the last day and we were going to make it even better.
Matt smiled " hey... we going to the pool..?" I laughed " sure.. let me get dressed.." Matt sat there as I got dressed. He was sitting there in shorts, a t shirt, and he had his tuck 81 hat on. I smiled " look good baby!" He laughed " thanks your looking beautiful!" I smiled "Stop.." HE laughed " no.. it's true!" We headed to the pool.
We just laid here for hours. It was nice. A guy came running outside. I looked up " this guy.." Matt kept his eyes closed " hmmm" I looked at him " he's coming towards us.." Matt opened his eyes " What did she do..." I looked at him " Matt!!!" The guy looked at us " Sorry.. I saw the hat and couldn't help.." I looked at him, confused " yeah?!!!!" He added " your a firefighter.." Matt cleared his throat " yeah.. what's the problem.." He looked at Matt " The elevator it's stuck... the nearest fire department is 25 minutes away... they cant be here now.." Matt looked at him " I don't know what I can do.." He looked at Matt " can you see..?" Matt nodded and kissed me " I'll see what I cans do... be right back baby!"
Hey came back 45 minutes later. He sighed " ok.." I looked at him " you good.." He nodded " yeah.. everything's good.."
We were ready to go home. We were missing Chicago!
