The firehouse was where I spend most of my time for the past 10 years of my life. I've worked at a firehouse for a long time. I know how it is. When I was pregnant with the twins, I came by her every shift. I worked on ambo for the most of my pregnancy. After I took leave, I would still come by a lot. I just want the kids to spend more time at the house. Everyone there is their family. They need to be around them. It kinda of makes me think about what if something were to happen to Matt or me. I would want them to be around their family. I would want everyone at the house to help them. I would want them to care for them too. They are family just like my parents, and Antonio.
We got to the house. we walked inside and I was just excited to see Matt, and everyone. Maria saw Matt, and ran into his arms " Daddy!" Matt laughed and picked her up " there's daddy's girl!!" I hugged him " hey.." Matt kissed my head " I'm glad you all come.." Hermann looked at me " Gabby.. nice that you came by.." I laughed " yeah.. i'm happy to be here!"
Matt gave me that look. I looked at Hermann " I'll be right back.." He nodded " Sure.. I'll be here with the kiddos.." I smiled " thanks.." Hermann looked at the kids " so..." Matt took my hand and led me to his quarters. I laughed " slow down baby.. I got your baby in here.." He laughed " sorry... sorry! I'm just glad your here." I sat down on his bunk " ooh" He looked at me all concerned " what.. what's wrong.." I smiled " nothing... just so tired lately.." Matt sat next to me " your not tired to.." I laughed " no.. we can....." Matt kissed me " good!" I laid down, and Matt laid next to me. He smiled " like old times.." I smiled and thought about it " yeah..." Matt looked at me " you know this baby... will be here soon! before we know it... this is good." I smiled " yeah.." Matt looked at me and kissed my head " we probably should.." I smiled and sat up " yeah.."
