Here for you- Chapter 64

This chapter is going to be written in Matt's POV 

I'm so grateful for my family. We've been through a lot, but I like to think were stronger than ever. Nothing has changed were just stronger. My family was always my sister and niece. I love my niece like a daughter. I wasn't there much when she was growing up. I realized when she grew up a little more that I needed to be here. My sister and I had our differences, but I needed to be here. I get things more now that I have my own family. We also have our 51 family. Were so close and nothing changes that. They are part of the family, and even more than that. Our kids though. You don't know love until you have kids. Shay is just like her mother. She's strong, brave, and always wants to help. She's also very curious. I can see her being the next paramedic of Chicago. Maria kind of does her own thing. She's a little jokester, she messes around. I guess she's kind of like me. She likes to joke. She's also a daddy's girl. So that explains everything. Andy he's  got all the energy. I think he took the energy from the whole family. He loves his trucks, and watching me use tools. We had to get him his own little tool box so he wouldn't take mine. That boy could be a firefighter or even take on the construction business. 

The kids just have so much personality for 5 and 3 years old. It's amazing, really. It makes me think of what our little boy or girl will be like. I laid in my bunk and eventually I fell asleep. I woke and everything just seemed off. My phone rang, and I picked it up " hello.." I heard deep breathing " Matt..." I responded calmly " Gabby.. what's wrong?" She keep breathing " Something wrong... something not right.." I ran to the chief's office " I'm on my way!" I opened the door " Chief.." He woke up and looked at me " Casey... it's.." I interrupted him " I know... it's Gabby.. i need to get home!" He looked at me " what..?" I looked at him " something not right here..." He looked at me " Casey... bring Brett and Mills!" I nodded " yeah.. ok!"
