"Don't wait for me." Yongguk said, throwing his bag to the old leathered couch placed in the living room. You nodded, looking at him with a panicked and worried expression.
He entered the bathroom, slapping the door behind him, making you jump from your place. He had just got a bullet in his right shoulder, which was now soaked with blood.
The first time you met him, you knew about this and how dangerous his life could be. But still you wanted to stay by his side, aside from the countless time he told you to stay away from him. You just wanted to be next to him, because you liked him despite the person who he was.
You hated how dangerous his life was, you wanted him to stop but who you were to tell him that. You were just scared that he would harm himself badly and this bullet was enough evidence that his whole life was in complete danger.
You walked toward the bathroom as you placed a hand over the closed door. "Yongguk!"
"Go home" He hissed, which made you more worried. He couldn't go to the hospital and he couldn't treat himself alone.
A hand reached for the doorknob, you opened the door and was welcomed by shirtless Yongguk sitting on the edge of the bathtub. His arm was soaking red and he was sweating heavily, the painful expression never fell off his face.
"Yongguk?" You called, hands shaking, It was so hard for you to watch him in pain. He shot you an angry glare for getting into the bathroom, but he seemed to be in so much pain to shout at you as he always did.
He held his other hand that wasn't injured up to you, for you not to come any closer to him. "Just go home, please."
"But you are bleeding, Yongguk. I should call Himchan--"
"Don't." He snapped, making you freeze in your place. "Don't call anyone. I will be fine."
"How are you going to be fine?" You winced, tears started to blur your eyeball as one ran down your cheeks. "You are hurt, Yongguk." Seeing him like this was more hurtful than when he treated you badly. This hurt even more, it suffocated you.
Yongguk sighed, seeing your tears in your eyes as he dropped his hand again next to him. "I will treat myself, I did that a lot before." He said as he started to open the water in the bathtub.
Adjusting the water to a warm temperature, Yongguk stopped and froze in his place as a soft groan skipped his mouth. He bit his lips so he wouldn't let out any sound from the pain as it shot his nerves in his arm.
"Are you okay?" You couldn't help but rush to him and kneel next to him, placing a hand on his knee, looking at him with alert eyes.
"I must look so weak right now. Damn, I hate it... Especially in front of you." He inhaled deeply and exhaled again. He surprised you when his hand dropped over your head gently, ruffling your hair weakly.
He shot you a small smile as he said, "I think I need your help in this." His fingers ran through your hair gently, messaging your skull, making you even worried about him. He never was kind to you at all. "Can you do this?"
You nodded, so willing to help him. You weren't planning on leaving him to bleed to death and lose him. You never wanted to lose him whatsoever.
"It didn't get in." Yongguk explained as looked at his shoulder again. "It's just touched the surface so it will be easier to clean. I'm just too tired to do it myself."
You nodded as you hurried out of the bathroom to get an old small piece of clothes and the aid kit from under's Yongguk's bed. You knew where it was because he told you where to find.
You returned back to the bathroom to find youngguk's head tilted downward and his body almost became slump.
"Yongguk?" You ran to him and he looked up at you with half opened eyes.
"I won't pass out now. No, never."
Taking a deep breath you nodded as you were determined to treat his wound now. Your arms stopped shaking as you tried as much as could to keep calm. "Glad to hear that because I'm not going to lose you today."
"You never had me, to lose me." Yongguk chuckled, but winced when the pain shot in again.
"Shut up and let me clean this for you." You said, frowning before opening the aid kit and started to clean his wound and treat nicely.
It was the first time you saw Yongguk shirtless, you tried hard to not stare at his muscular arms and back and just focus of his wound.
After finishing bandaging his shoulder and getting all the blood away from his shoulder and arm, you noticed a small tattoo over the muscles near his scapula on his left shoulder. You couldn't stop your fingertips from touching it and you felt Yongguk tensed under your touch, but he said and did nothing.
Maybe he was too tired to react, he lost a lot of blood.
His tattoo made you even more curious about him, they read as 'Do what u like, luv what u do.' It wasn't like someone like Yongguk would actually have such a tattoo with a deep meaning.
"Do.." You started, not sure whether you should ask him or not. "Do you like what you do Yongguk?"
A second passed and the other and Yongguk still gave you no answer. It wasn't like you expected him to reply to your question. He always pushed you away in the most possible way.
Sighing, you left your fingers from over his soft skin as you stood up to leave him to shower and have some rest.
Before you could make it away from Yongguk he caught your wrist, and you froze in your place. Turning, you already found him staring at you. "Do I seem like I like what I'm doing?"
"Then why don't you stop?"
"I can't. Not now."
"I really like your tattoo and I hope you follow it."
He pulled you, dragging you backward toward him, making you end up on his lap with a yelp. He winced as an impact from your sudden collapse over him, making you look at him with alert eyes, you didn't want his wound to open again.
"Yah, be careful your wound." You snapped as you looked at his shoulder checking that there was no blood left.
Yongguk pushed you down on his lap again, making you look at him with wide eyes. "I'm fine." He said, shaking his head.
"You are careless. An idiot who makes me worry to death." You said with a sigh.
His hand reached to your shoulder and gave it a squeeze. "I'm sorry."
Your eyes widened more, Yongguk never apologize. He seemed like he had really lost a lot of blood. You placed a hand over his forehead and yeah, his temperature started to raise up.
"You lost a lot of blood." You said, shaking your head. "You need to rest and you need to eat. And you need to--"
Yongguk surprised you again when his hand that was on your shoulder moved to your nape and pulled you suddenly toward him, making something soft pressing into your lips.
When he made a contact, you froze. Completely losing all your senses and your time. Yongguk who kept pushing you as many times as you remember now was kissing you. You wished he was in his right mind, you were scared that he only did that just because he lost a lot of blood and lost his mind or something.
But you decided to forget about that and just drown in the moment and wrapping your hands gently around his neck, trying not to hurt him, and kissed him back with the same force and ambitious.
Yongguk stood up, despite that the world was almost spinning around him, his lips still on yours, putting you on your feet with him. The hand that was on your neck slid down to your arm as he pushed you to the bathroom's wall. His kisses never ending sloppy and breathtaking. For a minute, you forgot that he was injured and in pain, you just let yourself melt in his arms.
When his wounded arm dumped into the bathroom's door, he broke away from the kiss and looked away from you, down at his arms.
"Did you hurt yourself?" You asked, worried.
He looked back at you and shook his head as he placed his forehead over yours.
"Yongguk, what was that for?" You asked, scared to know the answer.
"I'm following my tattoo as you told me and this was just a thank you for treating my wound."
