Evil Within | Yugyeom

Chills ran down your spins as your boyfriend had a serious face that you had never seen before. Clenching onto the poor guy's shirt, Yugyeom's eyes filled with fire as he pinned the guy to the wall.

Tears started to well up as your hands started to tremble in fear.

You knew it all. How your boyfriend, Yugyeom was. You knew the rumors around him, you heard them all, but you only believed what you saw. The sweet side that he had always shown you. You had never seen him like this before, with so much hatred and rage.

You ran all the way as you heard that he got involved in a fight. One of those fights that you had never seen before. Those fights that happened before you knew him, Kim Yugyeom.

People were surrounding them cheering for more bloody fight. Yugyeom had something evil in his eyes as if he wasn't satisfied with how horrible the guy already looked. The guy's face was already messed up. He barely could open his right eye from how swollen it was. Blood soaked his white uniform. His lips were parted begging for air to fill them.

"Do it." You couldn't believe your ears. The guy was challenging him to beat him up. You wondered how he found the strength to talk back to Yugyeom. "Do it, you bastard. Do you think that dating her will change your nature? You are a monster. See what you have done to me." A laughter skipped the guy's throat sending chills down your arms.

Yugyeom's grip on the guy's throat tightened as he slapped him on more time onto the wall. You gasped when he guy coughed blood.

His legs were struggling to stand on its own. You assumed if it wasn't for Yugyeom grip, that guy would already be kissing the ground.

"SHUT UP." Yugyeom shouted loudly. His voice banged your heart that it hurt. It hurt so much to see him like this. It felt as if someone ripped your heart out of your body.

The sweet boy who always took care of you, who was too nice to you, who laughed at the silliest things you did, who smiled when he saw you. He was gone.

No, this wasn't Yugyeom. Yugyeom was too sweet to do this.

The guy laughed once again and it was the thing that pulled Yugyeom strings. In a rage, Yugyeom shout as he swung his fist to the guy bleeding in front of him. But his fist stopped midway.

Yugyeom's eyes widened as he saw you standing between you and the guy who slumped down to the floor. Your eyes were tight closed as you were ready to receive the punch. At that moment, Yugyeom realized what he was about to do. If he had punched that guy, he could have lost his life.

He could have killed him.

"Y/N." Yugyeom's voice cracked as he called your name. He noticed how your body was trembling and shaking in fear. You were scared of him and that fact made him hate himself.

Opening your eyes slowly, a tear slipped down your checks "S-stop it, Yugyeom." You stuttered, a sob skipped your throat. "Please, stop. It's not true, Yugyeom. I know you, I know that you are a good person. I believe in you, so please stop."

Yugyeom's eyes expression softened as he pressed his lips in a thin line. You smiled at him. Hans trembling as it reached for your boyfriend's hands. His hands had scratches and blood all over it. Tears fell down your checks as you couldn't stop them.

You believed in Yugyeom

The guy lying behind you on the floor scoffed as he rolled his eyes. "It's funny..." He coughed, laughing. "That a woman can tame you.... What? Are you losing it for a woman?"

You felt Yugyeom's muscles hardened under your touch. You squeezed his hands, closing your eyes tightly as you shook your head. You didn't want to see that evil look in his eyes once again. "Yugyeom, don't. Please. I'm begging you. You will regret it if something happened to him."

"Loser." Another scoff skipped his throat and at the moment you lost it.

The guy's eyes widened at the sudden contact of your palm on his face. He was already too weak to fight you. From the look in his eyes, you could tell that the slap humiliated him more than getting beaten up from Yugyeom.

"Can you shut up?" You said, pushing the words as if you were giving him a warning. "I'm doing you a favor by saving your ass. Be graceful and accept it while you can, jerk."

The crowd that was cheering, fell silent as they watched you, talking Yugyeom by the hand and away from there.

Dragging him with you, you wiped your eyes with your free hand. The tears wouldn't stop, they kept falling down like a river. Opening the rooftop's door, you let go of Yugyeom's hands as you walked toward the fresh air and crying your heart out.

Yugyeom was frozen and shocked. He didn't want to lose control, but he did. Now, you must hate him. You would eventually leave his side like everyone did. He made you cry, he made you shake in fear. He was the worst boyfriend ever.

Approaching you slowly, his steps stopped, when you suddenly froze in your place. You must be scared of him, to the point that you didn't want him near you.

"I'm sorry." Yugyeom started, not sure what to say or how to explain himself. There was nothing to explain. "I scared you."

Turning around, your lips quivered as you tried to speak. But the tears wouldn't let you take your breath. "Yes, you scared me. I'm so scared of you, right now."

"I'm sorry." You knew he meant it. It was shown how guilty, he was. You could tell that he was tearing up too. "I didn't know what happened. I just... I..."

Before he could say anything, anymore, you hugged him, wrapping your arms around his shoulders. Yugyeom was way taller than you that he had to lean on your shoulders. He buried his face in your neck.

"I'm sorry."

You nodded, rubbing his back. "Don't do this again. Whatever people say, don't let them get to you!"

"I know, I was foolish." He hugged you tightly. Feeling something wet, touching your shoulder, you knew that Yugyeom was crying as well. "I was scared that I would hurt you. You suddenly popped out of nowhere." Pushing you away from him, Yugyeom kept you in an arm length, so he looked at you in the eyes. "Don't do this again."

"No, I will."

"What?"

"If this what will stop you from hurting others I will do it again and again. Because I know you won't do this again. You won't beat someone to death, again."

Yugyeom gulped his tears as he smiled softly at you. "You will never know when I will do it again."

"It doesn't matter. I will stop you."

Hugging you again, Yugyeom squeezed you a little bit, before kissing the crown of your head. "If you haven't stopped me, I would have killed him. I would have regretted it my whole life."

"Don't scare me again."
