[Aquapaw's POV]
It was the night after Bugpaw came to our clan saying that Greystar had requested an emergency gathering. Spokenstar was now just picking the cats to go. It felt weird going to a gathering when the moon was only half full.
"I have finally picked who is coming with me. I will be taking Amberfur, Tigerstripe, Flamefur, Firestream, Lionsun, Nightscare, Skyleap, Summerstripe, Burninghope, Dustyleap, Heartpaw, Tinypaw, Aquapaw, Winterpaw, and Emberpaw. While we are gone Metalclaw and Cheetahpelt are in charge. Let's go now. Nugget, I want you to come with a small patrol just in case they bring all of their clan. If they do, get the quickest one to run back and get the rest of DepthClan. We need to be cautious just in case they attack." Spokenstar told all of us. Yes! I'm going to the gathering! I wanted to hear the news right away.
"Okay. Airwing, Roseeyes, Flyblaze, Lightningpaw, Swirlpaw, and Blackpaw come with my patrol." Nugget stumbled a little over his words. He was still learning our language so it wasn't amazing yet.
"Okay, cats coming with me lets go." Spokenstar said and headed to the camp entrance. Nightmoon followed her quickly and then Sparklight and Creampaw followed after that. After they had all gone through the rest of us warriors and apprentices started to go into the forest following them.
The walk actually seemed really quick. It could just be since I was so excited to go to the gathering too. When we got there the other two clans were just coming in. Spokenstar quickly headed over to Silverstar as they headed up to the leader's place. DepthClan stayed pretty close to MapleClan. The other clan, WingClan as I had been told, looked like they had all their warriors except for a few. I didn't see Duskspark or Snowingblaze so I guess they were still at the camp.
"Let's begin this. I have lots to say." Greystar yowled making all the talking around me go quiet. I shifted uncomfortably and looked to Tinypaw who was now next to me.
"I'm scared for this." She whispered then Greystar started to talk again.
"I am Greystar, the leader of the new WingClan. EverClan has taken over TideClan by killing Whitestar. We will be coming for your clans next. I will rule the forest. Spokenstar, your reign as leader will no be much longer. You will have no allies soon. Then your clan is useless. If you refuse to give up then we will run you out of this forest.
"Also, any kit that we find out has the word 'wing' in it will be killed as soon as we find out. We will find out too." Greystar said making a chill run up my spine. She had turned so evil. I thought that was the opposite of what she wanted to be. I thought she wanted to be good. I guess she didn't now.
"Aquapaw, you will protect Wingkit with me right?" Tinypaw whispered into my ear. She had taken a fond liking to Wingkit and wanted to be her mentor when she was a warrior. I just wanted Wingkit to live that long now.
